Paypal Sandbox Work With Pay Button But Cannot With Merchand Account
Jul 6, 2010
i go to my merchand sandbox account and create a simple buy it now button.I stick the code in an aspx page.Ignoring any warnings, form problems etc etc.So when i try to pay it just tells me to log in to the site and nothing happens. And the reason i get mad is because when i try it with a paypal button it works and send me to paypal with the amount written above.I tried when logged in on sandbox, i tried when logged in on sandbox and logged in as a seller.I tried i tried i tried
i am integrating paypal sandbox with my asp.net web page. I have succeeded almost, but only thing remaining is retrieving the receipt number after the transaction on my web page. Paypal send that number in mail to our sandbox account, i know that, but i need to get to my web page....
I have integrated sandbox paypal into my application. After successful payment i am not getting success in the query string.Instead i get is return to merchant but if i do cancel i get the cancel in the query string
I create paypal payment Getway when on local machine i check transaction using paypal sandbox In this way I get all data from paypal site when Return url send me back to my site at Paysuccess page after tansaction over
But when I try same page Online It working well, but Data not save in my database.
is it possible to modify paypal sandbox test store name and image logo when customer is redirected to the paypal site. I am using express checkout workflow.
Asp.net How can i get the transaction history of paypal account on my website using paypal email id and password. As I want to Import the Paypal transaction logs in my website for financial management on my site...
I am implementing paypal checkout in my website it is working but i want to make a simple fees calculator for paypal in order to help the user, i went to paypal and they said their fees amount is 2.9% +0.30 fixed, but it is not working for some cases, for example: deposit $1.34
2.9 % = $0.04 rounded + $0.30 = $0.34, so i should get $1 credited but paypal send in its response in the field FEEAMT which indicate the "PayPal fee amount charged for the transaction" 0.35,
I was having trouble getting my shopping cart to connect to paypal. So I wrote a simple webform that has one button and one label. If I comment out the response.redirect(url) and look at the content that get written to Lable1.Text it looks find. Also, if I copy the content of the label and paste it into my web browser it goes to Paypal and displays correctly.
However, if I uncomment the response.redirect(url) I get the following error: ERROR: Unable to Send to PayPal - Thread was being aborted.
I am testing from localhost??? Should I be able to test this from localhost?
I have put ??? where my Sandbox email address is.....I don't know if letting other see that or not is an issue....otherwise I would have left it in for someone to try this code.

This is what displays in the lable1.text when response.redirect is commented out
I have an asp.net page in 3.5 that I have a pay pal button on but when I click on the button it just refreshes the page. I think I need to encapsulate the paypal button in something so it is not trigging the refresh but goes to pay pal. Can I use an updatePanel or iframe?
I'm trying to allow a web form to use a PayPal buy it now. The relevant page is: [URL]
Based on which radio button a user selects, depends on which paypal button they are "redirected" to. The subscriptions are easy - they are just a simple redirect.
The last option, requires a user select a venue. For this, i require to use the form below:
How do you add a PayPal button inside of a content detail of a master page. Since a MasterPage automatically encapsulates and nests ALL of the code of its contentplaceholder, by definition...all design and coding in a contentplaceholder cannot encorporate a form. This is true because w3 specs do not allow the nesting for forms.
I have static html paypal buynow button that works great, but it's static.

But it is possible to change the values for the hidden inputs from .net codebehind code? I found this post which takes a different approach of sending these hidden fields instead as a query string to paypal. Not sure I like that though as would this not possiby explose some of those fields like the return page?
Basically what id like to do change the important parts of the button and info I'm sending to make it dynamic.I know I can do something like this in the markup, but that would mean having to fetch data mulitple times was hoping I could somehow adderss the field values directly in the codebehind. Or possibly dynaically generate and insert the entire changing input type fields from the codebehind
Possible to add them with something like this: myform.Attirbutes.Add (???). If so how do I contruct these input types in .net?As far as return logic security, I've tested that it's solid, i just need to automate the button process so I don't have to create a buy now page and button for each product.
as Paypal offer "Add to cart" and "view cart" the two options which I need the most. And the biggest issue is that I am creating a website for a printing company. so they want a file to be uploaded with each product example a photoshop file but paypal does not give any upload file system. If I give upload file control before the user go to paypal page but every product should have an uploaded file and I don't know that how many products the user selected in paypal cart.
I am completing a website on which a single object is sold. I want to put the simplest PayPal button. I created the code of the button using the instructions on pp19 to 21 of "Website Payments Standard Integration Guide".
The code that was created was :
<code> <form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post"> <input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_s-xclick"> <input type="hidden" name="hosted_button_id" value="123456789"> <input type="image" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_US/GB/i/btn/btn_buynowCC_LG.gif" border="0" name="submit" alt="PayPal - The safer, easier way to pay online."> <img alt="" border="0" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_GB/i/scr/pixel.gif" width="1" height="1"> </form> </code> (I have altered the value value just for this post)
<p><a href="Page11.aspx#ankera-p11" >Back to Services page</a></p> <p><a href="Default.aspx#ankera-p1" >Back to home page</a></p> <p></p> </div> <!-- End of inner container --> </div> <!-- End of container --> </form> </body> </html> </code>
I pasted in the button code where I have put "xxxxx", but it's all a mess and I can't seem to get the button to appear.
Code: Dim objstrSupUser As String = "" 'Load the user from the membership provider Dim strUserName As String = ctlLogin.UserName If ctlLogin.UserName.IndexOf("(") > 0 Then objstrSupUser = Regex.Match(strUserName, "(([^)]*))").Groups(1).Value
Do I just need to make a field for account type in my user account table? In a technical way, if(account type = admin) then the account would log as admin; otherwise, a user with less privileges.
The whole thing is in a form, and it doesnt postback when this button is clicked. Im no good with javascript, but i got a feeling thats not the problem.
I have an ASP.NET page where at the top of the page is a search box. There are 2 text boxes - one is an autocomplete extender for the Name on a database, and one is just inputting the ID.The page features DetailsViews and GridViews primarily, and even when no account has been searched for, these display blank data which is not ideal. I sort of fixed this by using if (IsPostBack), encasing the elements in a placeholder and setting it to visible only if the page ispostback. But this doesn't cover if the user types in an incorrect ID.
Also, some accounts have huge amounts of data inside the GridView's. I had an issue where because I have no way of detecting when a data source's rows has changed, I end up binding whenever the page loads (Page_Load method). I've come to realise this is simply very bad - there are lots of times when the user can click various things in the page and have the page postback, and it takes an eternity to load each time I click something for accounts with lots of data.Anyway, my question is essentially two-fold but I have a feeling the solution will be similar:1: How can I detect when there are no accounts returned when searching, and disable the Grids/Detailsviews and show an error message?2: How can I figure out when the user searches for another account and only rebind the grids after that has happened?
I have use the mvc 2 web site template and I would like to attach
A user db that I have already created
In my web config file I have change the connection string to this"

I would like to create a sandbox area on my hosting provider that only the client can see. For example the production website would be at www.domain.com. However, would it be possible to create a sandbox version of the website at www.domain.com/sandbox and only provide access to the client?
If so, what is the best method? Do I manually have to create a login page etc in the sandbox folder? Or, can I publish the test website in the sandbox area and restrict access through my hosting provider?
