Popup On Editing Selective Textboxes?
Nov 23, 2010I have an issue with a popup in Asp.net using AJAX. Is it possible to show one kind of popup when
the user edits few textboxes and the other kind of popup for the remaining textboxes.

Sep 26, 2010I am currently trying to setup our complete development process (from dev to production).
We will be using Microsoft Team Foundation Server and I was wondering if there was way to put what version of programs you want in a build.
Let's say we are 20 programmers working on the same project and we only want to deploy changes done by one or two programmers. Is there a way to do that?
I was thinking about using continuous integration to our dev / QA server and than deploy what is ready and fully tested to our production servers.

Nov 15, 2010I have a project for WM5 in Visual Studio. After compiling it I can deploy it on WM5 or CE 5. It doesnt look as good on CE5 as it does on WM5 so i have to convert WM5 project to CE project and change manually backgrounds, move some controls etc. So i have separate projects for WM5 and CE (but you can install WM5 on CE without a problem). Now when it comes to deployement i want the installer to pick the right CAB file to install on the right system. How do i do that (i guess i have to add something to .ini file for CeAppMgr or CAB file)?

Feb 11, 2011I have been having trouble with this for a while now. I have a bound textbox within a Detailsview, to which I have added a RegularExpressionValidator (REV). The Regular Expression used is [a-zA-Z]*
After running the Web Form, the Edit button opens the fields. Any entries made cause the REV error msg to be displayed when the Update button is pressed, irrespective of the validation. The Update button continues to be displayed until the Cancel button is selected and the original record is returned to the screen replacing any entries.
The RequiredFieldValidator works correctly.

i don't know how to bind it since i don't have an entity that contains the employee's name, extension# and departments name. Do I need to create a custom class that consists of said columns? or is their a proper way to do this? I'm using vs2008 3.5 framework.
Forms Data Controls :: Repeater Textboxes - Unable To Fetch The Values Of Textboxes
Aug 11, 2010I have a repeater which is binded using a Collection of Entity Data Framework.
Once the repeater is binded using the datasource, the user can control the no of rows present in the repeater using a Dropdown list on the page. For ex: if datasource has 2 rows, user want to add 3 more rows, user selects 5 from dropdown, which adds 3 additional rows to the Repeater. I am able to do this.
The repeater has textbox controls in each row. Now once the user enter the values in this textbox of the newly generated rows, the user can save the values entered with the no of rows specified.
I have a button which is outside the repeater and on click of this i need to validate all the textbox values and save them into dB accordingly.

Sep 2, 2010I have one page with a panel that makes up my ModalPopup. On the ModalPopup there is an updatepanel with a textbox and a button in it. There is a textbox on the "parent" page and I want to click the button on the modalpopup and move the data from the popup textbox to the parent textbox. So far, no joy. I have a line in the code behind to move the data between textboxes and I have also tried javascript to do the same thing but I am not able to make this happen unless i click the button twice.

Once the user clicks on the 'save' button I am checking those fields against certain conditions (essentially calling a bunch of stored procedures to assess the values). If any of these 'rules' are met, I need to generate a popup that informs the user that certain values need to be fixed before they can continue for some of the conditions, and for others just to inform them of what conditions may need their attention.
The main thing I need help with is, how do I generate a popup box in my codebehind if the conditions are met?

May 4, 2010When using a modal popup extender along with an embedded video, the popup is hidden behind the video in IE but works as expected in FF.I've tried manually setting the z-index of the popup to a huge number and the z-index of the video object to 1 but this makes no difference.
