Jan 10, 2011I am making mailing system and i am using SQL MAIL service and i need to send mail to other server(application and mail server on different locations).so i some how i need to use queue systems. for example if i send 5000 mail then it should go in batch of 500-500. if i write code in core vb.net then user need to stay untill all batches complete. so some how i need a system by which user just click and mail address fetching and sending process works in background as well send in batch.

Mar 3, 2011I have a "Contact Us" page where in users will give in their email id and a query and on submitting the form, web admin would receive that email.
If I configure their email id to "from" MailAddress and send the mail, it will fail to do so if the ID is from popular mail domains like gmail or hotmail but would work with other unpopular or non existent domains like me@abcxyzmail.om without any credentials provided!
It worked with gmail after I configured SMTP and network credentials properly. The aim is to let the admin of my website who receives the email be able to hit the reply button in his mail client and see the "to" field populated with the "from" field filled in "contact us" page. Is there any proper way to do this or a tip or trick to accomplish it.

Created Automatic Mail After Registration But Some Accounts Not Receiving Mail?
Jun 15, 2010I don't know if it has to be with my application but the thing is that I created a registration form, when the user registers an automatic mail from my mail account at my hosting site is send to the mail account the user input.
The code is working I have tested it with a Hotmail and Yahoo account but Gmail is not receiving.
It is important to say that Hotmail and Yahoo receive the email at the junk mail folder, but Gmail not receives it in any folder. I check my mail account for bouncebacks but there is no problem.
If I change the code to send mails from my gmail account no matter what mail account the user inputs it will receive the mail. I've already contacted my hosting site support but they say they can't find any problem.
I've already waited 48 hours because maybe gmail account would take longer to receive the email but I haven't received it.

Aug 31, 2010I have a code which creates an image in application server and that image has been referred in mail html. After sending mail, image will be deleted in application server. When i open the mail , image is not getting display in the mail.
The reason i guess is , my code is deleting the image before it copied to mail server. I have checked by deleting the image manually.
First i opened the mail(this time image get copied to mail server) and then deleted the image in pplication server. When i open the mail 2nd time, image get display(because image is in mail server i guess)
Again i ran the code, this time before opening mail first time, i deleted the image in application server and opened the mail. Image is not displaying(because image not getting copied to mail server).

All i need is some simplle send mail code in c# to get it going. I am not sure on what i have to do weather i have to authenticate it and if the fact that exchange is on a sbs 2008 server called server01 and the intranet is on server02 they are both on the same domain.
