I have two tables. Product_Table with ProductID as the primary key. My other table, ProductSKU_Table which has SKU as the primary key and ProductID as the foreign key. I am trying to create a store procedure to insert into both tables. How do I insert the primary key from the Product_Table into the foreign key of the ProductSKU_Table? This is what I have so far:

For instance, let's say a user wants to store a meeting for every monday at 8am. This would be a weekly meeting and I would run a loop and add 7 days to each meeting and then insert each row into SQL. I have a large dataset (35,000+ rows) that I need to export to excel and then let the user download. I have done this the conventional way (with a gridview), but the data has grown, causing a OutOfMemoryException on the web server.
So I thought, would it not be better if I can export the data into excel on the sql server, and then transfer this data to the web server.
Note that this is not a one-off job. This will be ran regularly (twice a month), but the user. Hence I need something that the user can initiate.

I have extended a gridview to add an additional header with following two hyperlink controls "Select All" and "Clear All". These will operate on checkboxes in the data rows of the grid. I hide the column headers as I only want to show one column with checkboxes and "Select/Clear All" links. Everything is working as expected. Now, I wanted to add a scrollbar to my grid control, I did add the scroll bar using div but what it does is, it includes the "Select All and Clear All" links aswell. I only need to add the scrollbar to datarows and not to the header.I am trying to extend my control to include hte scrollbar by adding div during Render function. But how will I determine or loop through header rows? How will i get the header row with hyperlinks that I created above?? In Render if I do this.HeaderRow, it gets the original column header and not the custom header.

In my SP, I create some temporary tables to store certain data from multiple tables and contains some queries for an advanced calculationBut precisely yesterday, the value that the SP returns was incorrect. The page count is set to 10, when the user checks the checkbox(es), I will need to insert those records in a table. How will I know which row was selected? I found an example (untried) that is designed to loop through and insert the necessary records; but it does not address inserting records based on selecting rows via a checkbox. How do I put everything together.

I'm strugling with this problem for quite some time and I've tried many different solution but nothing works. In my application there are 3 textboxes. First is mandatory but user can leave second and third empty. I that case I want that application insert NULL.

I've tested code when user fills all 3 textboxes and it's working fine. If one second or third (or both) textbox(es) is(are) empty I wish to insert NULL into table. I've tried with DbNull.Value, null, 0, "3232131" and nothing works. I always get error Input string was not in a correct format. which is strange since code works when 2. and 3. tbs are filled and I'm not inserting string. And I've specified that table allows inserting of null values.

I need to produce a from where I can add multiple parts. Each time a user enters a part number, the description should be populated. The user can then click add and this part and description will be shown below. They have the option to add as many parts as they require. Once all parts are added the user fills in some general info eg description and then once a submit button is clicked all part info will be inserted into a table and general info will be inserted into another table with one unique ID.

I would like to create a common stored procedure for all insert operations performed in my Database. So i created a stored procedure as below.

But now my problem is how to pass parameters for this stored procedure. I have got the column names of the table passed. But i would like to pass the parameters for each insert operation of each table to identify which value is passed for which parameter.
how to pass parameters for this stored procedure.
(Parameter can be Column name prefixed @ i.e. @Column name)
It is possible to get the column names in another Stored Procedure . But how to prefix @ for each column and pass this as parameter to the Common Insert Stored Procedure?
