Oct 16, 2010I want to send a backup command to sql server and return backup file to my c# application.
sql server is another machine and I have not access to its hard disk.

Jan 26, 2010I have multiple projects that need to share resource files (.resx) Suggestions have been made to move resource files to a separate assembly and have web projects reference it. Is there an example of how to do this?
Do I create a new Class Library project and move App_GlobalResource folder inside of that? I don't think that will work because code classes that are generated for resource files are marked as 'internal' which means that they can not be accessed outside of this assembly.
Script Files Returning 404 Error?
Mar 11, 2010I'm using ASP.Net and whenever I create a script file or try to include a script file like jQuery they aren't working. I am doing just a regular localhost server and none of the scripts are working. Upon further examination using firebug I look at whats being referenced in those scripts and it shows html code for a 404 error. I know the scripts and files are there and I can navigate directly to them in the browser but for some reason I can't reference them in my page.

Feb 28, 2011I need some help, I did an update on our user table to change users from active to inactive (1 to 0). some how I updated the whole db. What Im hopeing is that I can create a temp db from our back up and do an update from the backup to set the user active staus in the current db to the backups.Can anyone give me some help with an example script. really dont want this to get worse.

Apr 2, 2011in sql 2008 , itook a databse back up and i got message like "backup completed sucessfully".i gave the backup name as D123.
now the pblm is when i check that backup file, file name is coming without extension and not possible to restore also.
file name is D123 instead of D123.BAK and filetype is showing 03 instead of BAK
where is the problem?is it possible to restore this back up?

now what i want is to retrieve the data for each four hours.. i.e i want to execute the package for every 4 hrs..
now what i did is i have taken a database transfer task and from the source i.e production database i want to transfer to my database which works fine..
but what is the problem here is for every 4 hrs whole DB is replaced in my system
i've given overwrite TRUE..
Here user enter the data into database for every 4 hour is minimum 10 MB of data.. instead for replacing the whole database for every 4 hrs is there any solution that what user enter data into database only that much amount of data should be append into my system..
