Nov 16, 2013I'm using datapager in my listview control and I want my datapager to always set to default as numeric pager field equals to 1 every time. I change the items of the dropdownlist as its pagesize where dropdownlist is set to autopostback. For example if the currentpage is on page 3 but when I select any item from the dropdownlist I want to set the datapager back to its default as numeric pager field goes back to 1. How do I do this?

Sep 3, 2010I have three tables in my sql database
contacts
survey answers
respondent_initial
Contacts holds all customer data with custid.
survey answers has assigned everyone how took the survey a number in a field called
respondent_no.
respondent_initial holds input from a webform where I populated it with the custid from contacts and respondent_no from survey answers before the webform input is inserted.I want to send an email to them that had there respondent_no in a hyperlink to the webform so that when they entered their data into the webform it would use the repondent_no to determine where to insert the form data.
Example joe clicks http://www.myplace.com/order.aspx?23
Mike clicks http://www.myplace.com/order.aspx?125
it would look up respondent_no (23) from the respondent_initial table and insert the data in that row in the database for joe's webform entry and it would look up respondent_no (125) from the respondent_initial table and insert the data in that row in the database for mike's webform entry. my code behind looks like this

Nov 11, 2010I have a insert into statement thats inserting my numbers from a numeric text box on my aspx page. I am choosing the Amount Type then putting in a a number.
So i have a drop down that i select example Direct Charge then i enter 600.00 and click add it puts that in to the databse for me woot..
I then put in say Misc Credit and enter 200.00 it inserts in that into the database woot.
The look up table that has my amount types has a field called numeric opperator which is either + or - the Credit being a - and the Charge being a + then my stored procedure takes all my + numbers and adds them up and subtracts all the - numbers.
I want to change that so that it actuall be inserted into the table as a - number form the start. So I want choose Misc Credit enter 200.00 and click add then my event says o yea thats a credit insert 200.00 as -200.00
How can I do that?

Oct 13, 2010Within my stored procedure I have a piece of SQL that is supposed to remove from a temporary table, any values that are not set to '1' for a particular field, but this does not work as required.
The SQL in question looks like this:

Can you see what I have done wrong here , as the test for tab3.THIS_VALUE = 1 is returning results for THIS_VALUE = 0 also, but all I want is a table that has values with THIS_VALUE = 1 only.

Feb 3, 2011I have stored procedure which selects records from an SQL table based on a bunch of user-input parameters.Just discovered that if a record in the table has null values in some of the columns (I haven't figured out which ones yet), then the SELECT is not returning the record (even if it satisfies all the parameters).The SELECT statement is supposed to allow for nulls, and I've been over it a bunch of times and am not sure what I'm doing wrong.Or do I need to get rid of all the null values in the SQL table, and prevent new ones from being introduced?

I need to remove duplicate orderid's and i need all column names also while doing query.
note that rows are not in the order. Order will be like this only.
I am able to get the records which are duplicated but not able to delete further.
In this case how to delete?
My consideration is that only distinct orderid's should be there in the table. Not bothering about the which orderid row is being deleted.

User Can Only Enter Numeric Values For Invoice Amount Textbox?
Oct 29, 2010I need to make sure a user can only enter numeric values for my Invoice Amount Textbox. It is a decimal field in my database.
I came across the MaskedEditExtender. It seemed like the solution for the problem. However, say I want to enter an amount of R50.00
The mask is set to 9,999,999.99.
When the textbox looses focus the amount becoomes 5,000,000.99.
Is there a better way that I can achieve this??
