I've seen several examples, but haven't come across one that is trying to submit both a file and other form data. Some other things of note is other examples seem to not put a HttpVerb attribute on the action method at all and have an empty parameter string. The files I'm looking to accept will be video files of various types but they can be anywhere from 100-300 mb. The files I've attempted to use (locally) have been rather small comparatively (50 or so mb).I know it's been asked but I feel like my issue here is different somehow. When I submit the page I see:

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

Oct 25, 2010I'd like to allow users to upload a .pdf file via the file upload control (if that's the best method), save the file to the db and then retrieve it so they can click on a link and open the .pdf they've uploaded. I've been looking for a tutorial on how to do this but keep running into methods of saving the file directly on the server in a directory, not in SQL server (using Linq and VB by the way)

Now I what I have to do is, if any file is already uploaded for employee, simply read it from table and show file name. I have only one column to store a file and which is of type VarBinary. Is it possible to get all file information from VarBinary field?
