State Management :: Clear The Session When Pass From One Page To Another?

I have a report parameter page which contains many pop up windows for the parameter selection. For example, for driver , there is a pop up window called driver.aspx which contains a listbox that contains list of driver's name.
Now, for each of these pop up windows, i am passing the values of these windows as a session value.
Now, when a user logs in the system, there are many parameter pages for different reports which commonly share the same pop up windows if the parameters are same for different reports.
The problem now is,a user selects 10 drivers for report 1 and runs it. When he goes to report 2 and runs the report, the report 2 takes only those 10 drivers as the driver parameter value.
It means, the error can arise on the system because he may forgot that he have selected 10 drivers for previous report 1. User will not have time to recheck each previous selected values of different paramaters.
What i want is, when a person moves from one report page to another, i want to clear all the session values and adjust it as default for the new report .
I have multiple sites with main and subdomain. all doing one same method for the login. login is done with the multi domain cookie but there is problem with the logout. I'm using cookie and session for that state.
When ever I logout form the any domain. I should logout form the all domain.
(Like yahoo or google)
As per my method , My all domain have logout page which has code

and main site(www.domain.com) have [Code]....
So what can I change in this code to do the Logout process for the all subdomains.
How to set session timeout and clear session in web.config and login.aspx ? And when we close the web application , the session must be cleared? I have use session.abandon as per below but is not working.
I have 4 webpages. In those pages, i am using session variables,viewstates,cookies. I am passing session variables,viewstates to different pages. Now the problem is sometimes i am getting the old cookie values or session values. I want to clear all these things when i close the browser or if i open a new tab of browser.

We are in the process of refactoring from cf to .net, so, I am working on the Login page and converting it from cf to .net. So, when I am autheticated and enter into our website, I need to redirect it to a cfm page (just temporary, since we will be refactoring that also eventually).
So, I am autheticated (using CustomMembership Provider model for sql server) and then when I redirect to the cfm, the app.cfm should validate the .net session variables. Here is where i am stuck:
I have the .net session variables in the aspx side:something like Session["UserId"].ToString() = Value from a login txt box (also authenticated against data in the database)
Session["UserName"].ToString() = Value from the db corresponding to the User Name entered in the text box.
So, now I have all the session variables in the .net side. Now, how do I retreive these .net session in the cf side? Any small peice of code to retrive the asp.net session variable in the application.cfm side would be great.
I searched on this all morning, but I'm still not sure. If I create a session variable to pass some data between a couple of pages, does that variable time out after it reaches the timeout period set on IIS, or will it persist for the entire time the user keeps a session alive? For example, session variable is used shortly after login and then never again. Susy uses other pages for two hours and keeps session active. Did that first session variable die after 20 minutes, or is it still there 2 hours later?
i have a requirement where i need to pass values from page1 to page3. In page1 i have 3 textbox and 2 drobdownlist and one button named NEXT. In page2 i have 10 textboxs and button named Next button. In page3 i have 10 textboxs and Submit button. when Next button in page1 is clicked it goes to page2 and then to page3. In page3 i need to submit all the values of page1 and page2 to database. Is there any way to pass all the values of page1 and page2 to page3 without using sessions

Well im trying to make a custom login page(im not using ASP.net Login Control), in Admin.aspx page
UserName and Pasword are entered in textboxes , then Code-Behind file checks the UserName and Pasword against DataBase(it stores the UserName and Pasword) if both are correct Session["IsAuthenticated"] = "true" and then user is redirected to AdminArea.aspx
AdminArea.aspx checks if ( Session["IsAuthenticated"].ToString() == "false" ) then redirect to Error page..
but i get NullReferenceException on AdminArea.aspx because Session["IsAuthenticated"] is null , i dont know why ?
I even tried PreviousPage.Session["IsAuthneticated"] but still got the same error..
I debugged,and found out Admin.aspx saves value in Session["IsAuthenticated"] succesfully but AdminArea.aspx looses the Session["IsAuthenticated"]..so it gets null
My Question is how to retain value in Session["IsAuthenticated"] when page is changed (I want to retrieve value in next page from Session)?
How can I remove or Dispose a session once user navigate from one page to other. I just want to use a session which should expire when user navigate to other page..its same like view state..we don't get viewstate information on page to page. why session: i need to keep one value on page constant on page refresh where as Viewstate will be reset to null on page refresh...and i just don't want to use that session once user navigate to other pages.. where i need to plcae the session dispose in page events or methods?..or is there any way to keep viewstate on page refresh?
I have logged in to the application and naviagate to Resource Editor page where it allows user to enter the value and saves to the resource file of the application.
After user clicks save button and navigate to different page the session value becomes null.
If the user navigate to different page without clicking save the session variable has its value

I have a form that takes the user information. When the user submits the form, after the postback, I need to get all some of the textboxes in the form cleared. I tried disabling the ViewState and ViewStateMode. But both of them failed. Also tried disabling the cacheability for the page. I know I can clear the textboxes on the page load event. But I am curious to know if there is another way to do this.
I read the solutioin for this error, at the following link :http://forums.asp.net/p/1046935/1576341.aspxbut I am still not clear what exactly causes the error. I have two doubts :1. Can anyone please elaborate a bit on this issue, with any example ????2. Is there any drawback of this approach ?
