VS 2008 - Can Add Text To Image Loaded In Image Control?
Sep 4, 2011
I am showing images of members on my website. The images are already saved to file. I want to add some text to the image that is loaded in the image control. I don't want to save it to file, just display the change on that web page. I have seen code on how to do this but I do not see how to load it into an image control. Is this possible without saving it to file?
I need displaying my image file stored from my database into the image control. I've had read some articles and watch video tutorial which there were perfectly working and I followed it but I wasn't able to make it work. The image control just displayed blank. I used Generic Handler to retrieve the image file from my database based on the articles and tutorials I've got. here are my codes below:
Generic Handler:
Code: <%@ WebHandler Language="C#" Class="ShowImage" %> using System; using System.Configuration; using System.Drawing; using System.Drawing.Imaging;
I Used AsyncFileUpload(one of Ajac Control Toolkit Controls) to Uploading User's Image. this works well. But i want to change the image url of an image contorl to uploaded image url. how can i perform that? I put Image control in a Update Panel:
[Code]....
in C# code I wrote these:
[Code]....
But it does not work. Image is like Previous. Note that ImageOperations.ResizeFromStream() method resizes and saves the image to a specefic folder. actually I should trigger a Postback to Update the Update Panel but How to do that. I usedUpdatePanelNew.Update(); but it does not work!
I am trying to put a default image in an Image control in asp.net and it should show that particular image on the page when no other image is assigned or no image available in Database.
I know how to display an image in gridview from image path in database. Now, I want to display an image in an asp.net image control from image path in database. Can anyone point me to a tutorial? I haven't been able to find one that explains how to do it when I don't know what the image path will be. The images are in the root folder.
I want to know, how insert image in image congrol. In image URL, i cant place pathname of local drive, where my image is located. How to pick from image?
this works great on my dev machine, but not working on godaddy.com. Every time I clicked on the image, the page is just loaded itself instead of going to the previewphoto.aspx page.
how to convert both text and image together into an image. To clarify my question I can say if I have a text editor where I can add both text,image,audio or video player, how canI convert the whole texteditor.text (it gives me html code) to an image and save it in a file.
I tried to show flash image in the first loading page of asp.net.But it is not showing most time.some times it is showing.What is the problem behind of this ..
I am using if (document.getElementById('<%= MainImg.ClientID %>').complete) { hideLoadDiv(); }
to hide a div which indicates the image is not loaded yet,but it hides before the image has finished loading and is shown, while the browser is giving me a message that the page is still transferring data from the server :S
Is there another function I can use to make sure that the image is fully loaded?
where external files / images are being loaded from. By this I mean that I'm aware that external JS files / Images are cached on the first load of a page. What I'd like to have is a tool that confirms to me that on subsequent requests these files are in fact being loaded from the users cache rather than downloading the file again.
I have read about the file upload control in asp.net and tried it and works great. But I want to know if I can use it for another purpose. I have a video capture control that can be used for webcam apps or anything else. It has a method called HTTPUpload where it will upload an image file to the server using the HTTP upload protocol. My question is can i use the .net FileUpload control for this? And if so, how can I pass the image file straight to the .aspx page without having to submit a button? Would the file be as a query string variable?
Arguments: WebServer = web server address WebPage = name of upload web page Fields = list of 'fieldname' and 'fieldvalue' values delimited with '|' Files = list of 'fieldname' and 'file path' values delimited with '|' Returns TRUE if successful, or FALSE otherwise. Example vcx.HTTPUpload "[URL] , "upload.asp", "field1|value1|field2|value2" , "file1|c:foldermypic.jpg|file2|c:foldermyvideo.avi"
I'm not even sure if this is the correct approach for this -
I have a DB that stores information, as well as a location to where images are stored
ie ProductImage = ~/ProductImages/BulkRetail.JPG
I'm using a repeater to list all the products, which works fine for all the labels I use but not for the image location. I'm using something like this, but it doesn't work:
I have div In my page that in this div I put image control
<div id="DLogos"> <asp:Image ID="imglogo" runat="server" CssClass="ILogos" /> </div> according to below code <div id="Dart1_I1" visible='<%# !string.IsNullOrEmpty(Eval("image1").ToString())%>'>
If in database was image it show div and if there wasn't any image it didn't show div but above code is for div that I put in datalistnow I want do some thing like that for Div that I don't put it in datalist I should write code for that in behindecode page but I don't know How I can do it?behind code
SqlCommand _cmd = new SqlCommand("storeinfo1", _cn); _cmd.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure; _cmd.Parameters.AddWithValue("@behcode", data); _cn.Open(); SqlDataReader _dr = _cmd.ExecuteReader(); while (_dr.Read())
i have a website which has a <IMG> and/or <asp:Image> in it.
The user has an option to upload an image. so if the user does upload an image it will be displayed in the stated controls above. but if they don't the control displays its alternative text or an "x" icon. can i just place a default image in it if there is no image reference to it to display?
We have a scenario where we would like to allow our users to upload images to the site. We are running on ASP.Net. A quick search did not result in anything good. It would be great if the control is free/open source but we do not mind paying a little bit.
I have a problem about image control. I am using VS2005 in Vista and suddenly uploading and retrieving image to a image control doest not work. I am working with this in Windows XP and all goes fine. After transfering it to vista, I can't upload and retrieve an image stored in the File System. My codes are all the same.
