VS 2008 Image Control?
Jul 17, 2010I want to know, how insert image in image congrol. In image URL, i cant place pathname of local drive, where my image is located. How to pick from image?

I've had read some articles and watch video tutorial which there were perfectly working and I followed it but I wasn't able to make it work. The image control just displayed blank. I used Generic Handler to retrieve the image file from my database based on the articles and tutorials I've got. here are my codes below:

VS 2008 - Can Add Text To Image Loaded In Image Control?
Sep 4, 2011I am showing images of members on my website. The images are already saved to file. I want to add some text to the image that is loaded in the image control. I don't want to save it to file, just display the change on that web page. I have seen code on how to do this but I do not see how to load it into an image control. Is this possible without saving it to file?

Nov 5, 2010I have read about the file upload control in asp.net and tried it and works great. But I want to know if I can use it for another purpose. I have a video capture control that can be used for webcam apps or anything else. It has a method called HTTPUpload where it will upload an image file to the server using the HTTP upload protocol. My question is can i use the .net FileUpload control for this? And if so, how can I pass the image file straight to the .aspx page without having to submit a button? Would the file be as a query string variable?
Arguments:
WebServer = web server address
WebPage = name of upload web page
Fields = list of 'fieldname' and 'fieldvalue' values delimited with '|'
Files = list of 'fieldname' and 'file path' values delimited with '|'
Returns TRUE if successful, or FALSE otherwise.

Jun 7, 2010I Used AsyncFileUpload(one of Ajac Control Toolkit Controls) to Uploading User's Image. this works well. But i want to change the image url of an image contorl to uploaded image url. how can i perform that? I put Image control in a Update Panel:

But it does not work. Image is like Previous. Note that ImageOperations.ResizeFromStream() method resizes and saves the image to a specefic folder. actually I should trigger a Postback to Update the Update Panel but How to do that. I usedUpdatePanelNew.Update(); but it does not work!

Jun 17, 2010I'm still a basic user of ASP.NET and i'm trying to figure out how can i use the FileUpload control to give an uploaded image to the Image control.
The FileUpload control doesn't have an OnClick() event so when i hit Upload i don't know what happens with the uploaded file in the back.
what i'm trying to do is choose a file with the FileUpload control, preview it in the Image control and then save it in an SQL Server 2008 database in an "image" field.

This file path will be diaplayed in Gridview and I have made "Auto Generate Select Button - True" in Gridview.
Is it possible to get the image in image control by using this file path on the click of "SELECT" option in gridview.
My running this application on a remote server.
