I have following class in webservices, I am not able to override the constructer of webservice. Asp.net always call first method not the one with parameter.

I have an application that has JS calling ASMX files to do asyncronous requests, using ASP.NET AJAX.
The problem is that I use always the same "onError" function, and now I don't know how to identify the method that rised the error, and it is giving me a lot of problems to debug errors. The parameter "data" of the onError method does not give enough information, for

I am using ASP.NET (.asmx) web services with Silverlight. Since there is no way to find the client IP address in Silverlight, I had to log this on the service end.
These are some methods I have tried:

i m making an API in .net , that will communicate with its client with xml data. client software can be in any language php,asp.net etc. what is the best way to develop such API, i was trying to use the .net webservices', but [webmethods] does not allow non static data, and in my API there are lots of things that will work only with the non static data. any way to develpop it without using .net webservies?

First off, how do I do this - is it by simply overloading it? And secondly will my original property pick up the new enum automatically when using the derived class or will I need to overload that too?

This could also be due to an HTTP request context being aborted by the server (possibly due to the service shutting down). See server logs for more details.Why would this happen and how to best resolve it Also is this the way how asp.net application will interact with it too - is threading the best way to do the load testing
In my WCF service i exposed two services service1 and service2 now consumer/client do not intrest to consume service2 then how he will restrict this?
View 1 RepliesI am coding a classic .asmx web service. The method get data (as a string) from a server, then assign data to an object, then return that object. But I want to cache that object to a XML file for other request. It's because the data from server is not frequently change. Thus, after some minutes, I have to refresh the XML file. When I refresh XML file, I could write object to XML first, then return that object, but that approach maybe slowly.
How can I return the object for client first, then write this to XML file?
