WCF / ASMX :: Textbox On Registration Page For Job Title?
Dec 3, 2010
I got a textbox on registration page for Job Title, was just wondering Is there any (free)webservice available that can bring the available job title as user types througj Ajax?
I am designing a question module. What i want is while i'm typing something in a textbox (called title), it should list titles of other questions that have already been asked. But not done as AutoCompleteText.
I'd like those listed questions to pop up near the textbox and be set as a hyperlink, and by clicking on that link will result in the user being taken to that questions page to view all the available things about it.
As this is registration form, I want server side validation of existing email id .If user entered email id already exist in DB I want to reopen the above modal dialog (automatically) with an error massage Email ID already exist.
<asp:Content ID="TitleContent1" ContentPlaceHolderID="PageTitlePlaceHolder" runat="Server"> My Page </asp:Content>
This works by placing the content page specific title on the page ("My Page" in this example). Now I want to add a global prefix to the title in my master page for the site name. So I want:
It renders Fine with Register symbol after the text "My Test Application Name" on start of the page but on any postback the title turn into My Test Application Name® Kindly let me know what can i do with minimal effort to fix this issue
Every time I create a new aspx page and add some new photos and text, after I finish, I have to update page title, Web.sitemap, Sitemap.xml to feed search engines, static sitemap.aspx page, add photos to proper folders, update database to display feeds etc, and I have to remember to upload all new files including links to any new pdfs....This routine eats my time and drives me crazy.
I was wondering if there is such interface, where you need to create only 1 aspx page, for example "Articles" which can populate Texts, photos etc into pre-defined sections, but at the same time it displays with different URL's, so there is a permanent link to it. After you finish it creates a title automatically, based on article title, populates Web.sitemap - does all the dirty work. Similar to how blog engines, Joomla and Drupal work.
I want to make a page for registeration form. It will have name, address, gender, contact_no and email. User will key in data in the TextBox and all the data will save into the database after they click Submit button. I know how to design the UI and create database and table. But I didn't know how to save the value in the TextBox into the database.
I have created using master page visual studio 2005 express. One of page using master page in it. I have pay pal online application using form tag inside this page. When I click on Pay Pal Submit Button nothing is happen. This page was earlier made in ASP only and working file. Is there any restriction using Form page inside the page which are using master page in it. Because master page is also using form tab for itself.
The code is given below....
<%@ Page Language="C#" MasterPageFile="Home-MasterPage.master" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="Register-for-CMS.aspx.cs" Inherits="signup1" Title="Register for CMS at Centeral Jersey Real Estate Institute" %> <asp:Content ID="Content1" ContentPlaceHolderID="ContentPlaceHolder1" Runat="Server">
I want to make a registration page for clients, that would only contain a button register and unregister. When the user would click on any of these 2 button he would should be prompted to select a client certificate from his computer. I would also like to extract the email address from the selected certificate.
Is there any way of declaratively configuring IIS 7 to require a client certificate for just 1 .aspx page on the website. I could then extract the certificate from Request.ClientCertificate, right?
I don't know if it's the right way to do it in MVC.What I need is to put an input with a button for newsletter registration common to all pages.which is the correct way to do it?putting it directly in themaster page? - which i couldn't find a way to do?putting it in a user control in the master page? - also can't find a way to do?
I want to craete a registration page with image.whre users upload there image. After registration when they login with there user name & password tehy also show there pic in welcome page.
Open a web page (Preferably not visible) Check whether the page redirects to a different page (Site is down, 404, etc.) Check if the title is not equal to a said string
Then separately, (They need to click a confirm button)
open their browser, and go to the address of the first (It'll be the only one) hyperlink on the site.
I literally have been looking on Google for ages and haven't found anything similar to what I need.
