If i put 2 Wizard controls on 1 page when I run either one of them both get validated which causes an error.
How would I go about having 2 separate wizard controls on 1 page and have them validate separately?
I will start a new project in a couple of weeks and I have some questions about ASP .NET WebForms. Visual Studio ofters some nice wizards such as the SqlDataSource component that you can assign to a GridView and then you can edit and delete rows without coding.
The disadvantage of these wizards is the bad seperation between the layers and thereby the maintance of the software. One good example is the SQL statement in the view (*.aspx files) and so on. I would like to ask you how you handle this in your projects. Do you use the wizards? Otherwise if the wizard would not be used then it is a lot of effort necessary to program all features of the GridView component self. Such as edit, sort, paging etc. Is there information available how you can do this? I didn't find really something. What is your opinion about this.
I am using Master page and Content page combination.But how can i access <body> tag and it's event (onload, onunload) of Master page in .aspx page that is not a content page.

I have a data driven asp.net website with frames on the top, left, right and center screen. If a page generates an error on any of the frames, I want to redirect the whole site back to the Default.aspx. Currently, when a frame page errors in one of the frames, that frame gets the error pages. Site is URL.... Is this something that can be handled?

This works by placing the content page specific title on the page ("My Page" in this example). Now I want to add a global prefix to the title in my master page for the site name. So I want:

However, when I do this content pages are still rendered without "Example.com" in the tile, it's like it's ignored.
Why is this happening and how can I achieve this?

I have created one user control for changing the theme of the page where i have several buttons and on click of each button i am applying the theme of clicked buttons color and for that i have created several css files like red.css, blue.css , green.css etc.

Further more, the table displays general information list and the panel displays a list of detail records. when a user clicks a table row, the panel is going to jump to the specific detail row, similar to html anchors. The login.aspx page uses a master page and styles in a stylesheet located in a folder off the root directory called 'Styles'. I have also add the following to my config file.

When the page displays, the login page displays with the master page content, however all of the styles are missing. When I embed styles into the master page the styles show properly, so I know the problem is that the styles are not being accessed from the file. how I can authorize access to the stylesheet?
I am experiencing an issue with the TreeView control when loading new pages. It is databound to web.sitemap, but when loading a new page, it does not select the node of the current page, just resets it to the root. THe new page loads fine, just not preserving the current navigation in the tree view.

The User Control has a textbox in it and the focus needs to be on this newly created control textbox each time. It all works almost perfectly however when there are too many controls to fit on the page, because I set the focus to the textbox the bottom of the page is set to the textbox that has focus not the very bottom of the page. I have a submit button below this which ends up below the page limit. How can I set focus to a textbox but still scroll to the every bottom of the page to show the submit button.

I need a solution to reduce page load time. Is there a way,where the gridview loads only if user scrolls to it. I donot want the user to make selection for everytime he wishes to see a gridview. The page should show gridview if its data is bound to it, not waiting for entire page gridviews to get populated.
