I want when users enter number, automatically in text box show camma after 3 number like below

I don't have a VS in front of me but i would be needing this one next week when i start working again, so I thought I would be prepared.What i want to do is put a comma "," right before the last 2 digits. So I am thinking of ajax masked edit extender but I don't have VS here so i can't do the testings. If it does not have the exact feature i was thinking of some custom javascript-jquery function . Finally a regex to clear out the wrong formats-characters again if masked extender does not work.
My formatting should be like this: 1234567 to 12345,67 , 1 to 1,00 etc. If doable, I would prefer the mask for the masked extender.
I would like to use validation to check the length of a textbox entry (character length) when the textbox loses focus. how I can do this?

I've added textbox in one culumn.In this textbox the user enters a nubmer and then clicks the link in the same row to add that item to his shopping card.the number in the textbox shows the number of the item he wants. now the bloblems are:
1- how can I get the number entered in the textbox ot the same row
2-when I click the link and the page postbacks the textboxes are empty as they are when the page apears the first time.

I have a label lblCountCharacter with text "4000" and a textbox txtAddNote where users can enter text.
On entering one character in txtAddNote, the label text is decreased by one.

I like to convert 1234,222 to:
1.234,22
But what happends below is he converts it to 1.234, so verything after the , is gone. How can i change this function so it works correctly?
Also if the number is 1.234,248 the result should be 1.234,25 , so just 2 numbers after the ,

Here is what I'm trying to achieve: The user enters in the textbox a date. It can be:
20.04.2010 or 20/04/2010 or
01Apr2010 or Apr 01 2010...
Any other formats should be forbidden. When the user leaves the textbox then the date should be displayed as 01-Apr-2009. I already tried but I got only when am entering the numbers only like (21-04-2010) but I want to entering the string like apr, jan, nov .
