I am selecting multiple dates from a calendar control and inserting them into DB. The question: how can i make calculate number of dates selected and show the number in a textbox , using a button click event?
One other thing, in another case, i am selecting (fromdate) from Calendar1 and (todate) from Calendar2 ,, i want to calculate number of days including both dates and show the number in a textbox?
I want to calculate the number of days an employee has taken leave in the month of january. For that I have two date fields Leave_Start_Date and Leave_End_Date in the database as follows:
once a user select an item from dropdownlist > Dates from DB are shown on calendar in pink color.
The problem now is when i want to select new dates the selected dates(in pink) become deselected .. I want them to stay selected so i can know which dates are already used .
i have a text box named txts_date where the date format is dd/mm/yyyy....and i have a label name lblduration...now my need is i have another text box named lble_date...i want to add the value of duration ie lblduration to txts_date and display it into txte_date...
for example...
txts_date has date 22/11/2010 and lblduration has text as 10 so i want to add both the values so the result would be 02/12//2010..
i have two textbox using calaendarExtender and one label.
My needed is if i select two different dates in calendar extender the number of working days(excluding Sunday) to be automatically display in the label.
I have 2 textboxes and a label on my page. The 2 textboxes will contain numeric values. The label text will be the product of the 2 textbox values. Is there a way to do this using JQuery so that the value can get updated when I edit the textboxes without having to do a postback? Also the textboxes may contain values with commas in it: e.g. 10,000. Is there a way I can extract the number from this so that it can be used to calculate the label value.
I need idea of new implementation. I have a client application which will interact with my application. My application needs to count how many slides are available in the powerpoint presentation file and it needs to provide it to the end user. And also user can ask this application to provide only first two slides or 3 and 4th slides to retrieve from the PPT file. How do I approach this. If any one has answer and source code please provide it.
How do I get the previous two weeks days and dates from a selected date.
E.g. The Selected date is 19 February, 2011. I need to figure out Sunday Feb 6th, through Saturday, Feb 19th. This includes the dates and their days of week.
I have a calendar where all the dates from my database are selected/highlighted.I have to use a repeater because else it won't work, but now i want a single calendar where multiple dates are selected, instead of a single calendar for every date in my database. My code:
For the purposes of this question, let's assume the user will be from the US and will use the standard Gregorian calendar. So, a calendar week starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday.
What I'm trying to do is determine the number of calendar weeks that exist between two dates. A perfect example of my problem exists in October 2010. Between 10/16 and 10/31 there are 4 calendar weeks.
View a picture of October 2010
October 10 - October 16 October 17 - October 23 October 24 - October 30 October 31 - November 6
I'd prefer to stay away from any hardcoded logic like:
I am selecting multiple dates on a calendar control ,, and then i insert them into DB. The problem happens after i insert, if i want to add new list of dates, once i start selecting on calendar all last selected dates appear (get selected on calendar) Does this mean these dates are saved in Session or what? Here is the code I am using:
