Web Forms :: Error In Calling JQuery Function On DataList Button Click

i have a datalist to display the details of item from table "PRODUCTS" of my database, in datalist has link button .. on click on linkbutton i want to store the values (name & price ) of that row in the another table "ORDERS ". I am using jquery -ajax method for it .. but on button click the code work fine and values inserted in table "Orders" without any postback , but its happens only once i;e when i click again nothing happens, no values inserted , neither show any error. .
I have a web form in which I create many controls including a submit button dinamically.
I want to check a condition in the button's click event and if it comes true, call a javascript funtion to show an alert. but the problem is when I use :
I need to call a javascript funtion, on the click event of buttons(asp button or html button) in my gridviw.Also I need to pass the ID from the gridview(datakey value) as a parameter to the javascript function.
ie ,All the rows in my gridview has a button field,on clicking each of the buttons ,a javascript function is to be fired ,and the ID of that particular row from gridview(datakey value) should be passed to the javascript as a parameter.
I have a button within a TabPanel and i have a button click function written in Jquery that is not executing when i click the button. If i remove the tab panel and container it works, but i would like to use the tab panel/container functionality. See code below:
i am using asp.net and following code to submit form on enter key press it is working but only refreshing same page and not calling button click event in server side code and without saving data it is comming back to same form, even without the jquery code again same thing happening don't know why but in some forms enter key press working fine and saving data without even following jquery code.

This works just fine. But i do have some validations on page that i have to check and throw error if they don't fill certain fields on the form. Having this function on the ClientClick event, its fired each time the button is clicked. How could i fire this function on the codebehind once i am done with all my validations?
I have a simple form and i'm using a jquery to load a data (partial postback)...$("#divbody").load("OtherData.aspx?ID=12"); The OtherData.aspx contains a Data that shows in gridview and using a querystring..BUT the problem is when I click a button (default.aspx) I got an error...The state information is invalid for this page and might be corrupted.
I have an aspx page with two buttons, one of the buttons has an OnClick attribute to a function that should be run when clicked. When the other button is clicked there is an if statement checking if the page is a postback, if it is then I run some statements that need to be run when that button is clicked. That postback button works fine. However, the other button, when it's clicked the function it's supposed to call never executes, and the statements inside if (Page.IsPostBack) get executed instead. What can I do to fix this? Is there a way to make the button that calls a function not do a Post back?
I am new to jQuery. i place the return false to stop postback, that postback is stopped, but error messages are appearing. How can disappear the message by click cancel button. I used e.preventDefault() also it not working. here my code:
I have an ascx which contains a submit button for a search criteria and I am trying to call a validation function in a js file I've used throughout the site (this is the first time I'm using it in an ascx).
Now at first I was getting "Validate() is not a function" in firebug. Since I did that alert testing, I am getting the first alert, then nothing with no errors.
