Dec 28, 2010i'm creating a cookie with an expiration of 12 hours from now. when i run my solution locally and go into C:Users..AppDataLocalMicrosoftWindowsTemporary Internet Files and look at the expires property of my cookie the date and time are correct. However, when I deploy this to our web server and go to the website i notice the cookie that got created for it has an expiration date of 2 years from now, minus a day. So the cookie should be set to expire on 12/29/2010 8:00 PM for example instead shows 12/28/2012 8:00 PM. Here's the code i'm using to create the cookie, pretty basic. And yes, the date on the web server is correct. I really want the cookie to expire in 12 hours, not 2 years.

Mar 14, 2011I have a window that has 3 dropdownlist controls and a textbox with a Calendar Extender associated to it.
I have the following on my pageload event so when the Page loads the current Date is put in the date textbox:

I can change the date fine but when I select a value from one of the other dropdownlist controls it puts the date back to today's date...The only place I am setting the Date to the current date is in the pageload event...
how can I get it to keep the date to what I change it to after I select a new value from one of the dropdown lists?

Jan 10, 2014I am having one form in which payment mode have 2 radiobuttons cash and cheque when cash is there cheque panel remains in visible and when cheque is clicked panel opens in that there is cheuqe no,date and bank name.
my problem is that when i store cash data the cheque date by default stores date 1-jan-1900
but I don't want this to happen .....

The warning is saying the webpage is trying to close do you want to continue closing the webpage yes /no

Mar 4, 2010I transferred my precompiled Default.aspx and all related image files to the main folder of my www.freewebs.com account. I also transferred App_Code.compiled, App_Code.dll, App_Web_c871ipga.dll, App_Web_s_wu1khu.dll, App_Web_vy0pwb06.dll, and default.aspx.cdcab7d2. compiled in a new bin folder. When I accessed the URL address for the Default.aspx file in my freewebs account, all that I got back on my browser was: This is a marker file generated by the precompilation tool, and should not be deleted!
I also tried to deploy without precompilation. However, when I transferred my uncompiled Default.aspx web page to my freewebs account and entered [URL] what I got back on my browser was only a listing of the source code for the web page complete with my C# script code. Why can't I execute an ASP.NET web page?
