Is there any way where I can restrict filetypes in file upload, that is when I click the upload button in fileupload control the dialog shoule show only files of particular type(for ex jpeg)

i am using this page.now i m want. .

1.. when click on browse button open dialog will come and whic image we select it show on image box..

2.. when i click on upload button it upload to the image folder in my project.

3.. i don't want to show any other control here.. i don't want to use file upload control or input file control because they come along with the text box....

and i want only button.. i saw this in varioues site..

Naturally when these people are on site they have no problems because of the network speed with have. What are peoples thoughts about extening the time out period, working on an 250k upload speed from home, we would be thinking about 20 to 30 mins.

I AM Using:

Microsoft Visual Web Developer Express 2010

My Development Server has:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
IIS 7.5
ASP.Net 4.0

When I attempt to upload 1 file under 4mb, everything works wonderful When I attempt to upload 1, 2 or 3 files with a total size under 4mb, everything works wonderful When I attempt to upload 1 file, over 4mb or When I attempt to upload 1, 2, or 3 files that total over 4mb, a problem arises! And Continue to read and not assume it's just my Web.Config file, for I did attempt to set the maximum upload size to higher than 4mb, a copy of my Web.Config is included below!

Here is my Problem:

I have a need to upload 3 Files, 1 File being a .jpg file and the other 2 files will be .mp3 files. If I try to upload 1 file that is over 4mb or if the sum of the 3 files is over 4mb, I get a> The Regular Debug Message:

Maximum request length exceeded.

Description:

I am uploading an image using the FileUpload control. After I have uploaded the Image to the server and the image is saved there, I am trying to show this image in an ImageBox like in the code.But the image is not shown in the Imagebox. I had this problem for some time but now wonder why the Image isn�t showing in the ImageBox. I have also tried to use the Page_Load event to track the SessionVariable to show the Image but this does not work ?(The file gets uploaded and saved to the specified path anyway, that part works)

Using the FileUpload Control, I know I can get the size of a file using: PostedFile.ContentLength. Using VB, is there a way to show Bytes being loaded in Real Time? In other words, if 1000 bytes has already been loading, a Label will show 1000, when 4263 bytes has been loaded a Label shows 4263, etc.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.

in my project i have a folder containing N number of files. I need a functionality that the page should have links for all those files so that client can download those files.

For this i have dynamically created Link Buttons and linked each file with each link Button.

The Code is as

the file is downloading in HTML format, moreover the file name of downloaded file becomes same to my Code file name where as i want the actual name. the downloaded file have the actual data but it also contains the html code to the page on which this links are coming
