I am using web parts in web application (ASP.NET, C# 2.0). I have 2 web parts available in 2 "td".
When one web part is moved from one td to another td, I get the empty web part, which says "
Add a Web Part to this zone by dropping it here. ".
i want that textbox's height should be increased based on its content
textbox is multiline and its width i have put fixed.. n i dont want to show verticle scrollbar.
how to increase its height as its content increased
In Crystal reports I want my text to fit in the column depending on the size of the text.
I used Can Grow property for the entire row, but the text is moving to the next row.
while viewing Class diagram its images are not clear since they are of small size.Its width are increasing but not height. How to increase its height ?

When I have a list with 1 or 2, rows the row height automaticaly expand to fill the heigt of the table.
How can I avoid this happening, and have fixed height colimns.
I have a HyperLink inside a panel.
I wonder if the the HyperLinks height can follow along ´automatically´ as the Panels height is changing as the HyperLinks is nested inside the Panel.
Is there a function for this?

We need to have them look like standalone applications when viewed in their own pages, but also have them look like they fit within the sharepoint page when embedded. We are doing this currently with IFrames and it works ok, but I'm wondering if there is some sort of proxy web part where we can configure the web part to point to an existing web app and it will proxy the contents through from the web app into the sharepoint page removing the need for an IFrame. Possible?

When looping through the items, is there any easy way to get properties of the web parts? Such as AllowClose, CatalogIconImageUrl, etc... View 2 RepliesI am working with a gridview that pulls data from a SQL database based on selections in dropdown lists. The source table has six columns for attributes of the selection, but depending on what is chosen, there could be anywhere from one to six of those that are empty (all null values). When the column is empty, I would like to have it hidden so the page is less clunky and confusing.
I've searched around for an answer for the past couple days, but what I have found so far is either related to hiding columns that you know are empty which I will not know or removing them in the SQL code which I think doesn't work if the column is called for in the gridview code and doesn't exist in the query.
I have this code, how will I write the code so I can check if a textbox i empty? This way want work. Now it goes in if cellPhone != null all the time.

In my web application i send a invoice(pdf file at least 700kb) when completing a order(create a pdf file then attach it to mail function and send it and delete the file).There are more than 10 users use this function same time.
