im using the below code to pass the value from grid to next page textbox the values are passing but anyone column is empty , if i pass that value it display " " in the nextpage textbox

I have this code that populates a textbox based on a cell in the selected row of a gridview
protected void GridView1_SelectedIndexChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
txtComment.Text = row.Cells[14].Text.Trim();
}
It displays in the txtComment textbox if Cell[14] has no data. Is there a way to prevent the from appearing when there is no data in the cell of the selected row?

This worked

I've noticed that when i populate textboxes from a selected row in a gridview that if the field is blank it displays " " in the textbox.
Here is the solution I came up with. I check each cell before adding it to the textbox.
I get the feeling that I'm either doing something wrong to have this problem in the first place or that there is a better way to handle this.

How to remove the horizontal scroll bar from a TextBox on web form.I am using IE8.0

The horizontal scroll bar is always visible weather there is text or not, in a disabled mode.
And the vertical scrollbar of textbox flickers when I am moving my mouse cursor over anchor tag <a />. For textarea control the scroll bar automatically goes up. I am hiding and showing a div tag on click of anchor tag.

Basically, the user Selects a row on GV that executes an Insert into a table the GV cell values of the selected row.
The SQL field data type is varchar. If the GV field is Null, the Insert adds the value to the SQL field. How do I keep the @nbsp; from being displayed in the cell of a data control when it is called at a later time? Do I add some more asp to my control parameter? do I add some vb code behind? I use some telerik report to print some report.I need to use Telerik.Reporting.TextBox to print labels.Some labels are stock in .txt files, like " Apple".When I see a label with spaces, it means I have to indent it in the report, so in the TextBox.The thing is when we export the report in pdf, we have the indentation, but not when we see in the browser. If I replace the spaces by "& nbsp;", we see the indentation in the browser, but when exporting to pdf, we see the "& nbsp;".

let's say I have the following string:
string s = "A B C D TESTTEST BLA BLA TEST TEST2"
Then I need the following:
"A B C D TESTTEST BLA BLA TEST TEST2"
So the rules are:a) replace every second space (between non space chars) with
b) If the last space is replaced with , try to move it backwards (if possible) one step so the next word is not touched by the force space.
Background:I want to use that to print data from the database to my website. But I want to optimize the forced spaces to use less space. I also want the last forced space not to touch the next word (if possible) so it is easier for some search engines to catch that word.
Will I need to loop through every char in that string and count the occurrence or is there an easier, faster and more fancy way?]So I did a benchmark to figure out which solution to accept:

I have a text box on page load, loads a text value. I would like on the first instance of the page load for another textbox to equal to this value. As I have a gridview on the same page to update the textbox value does not get updated.

I have a gridview with a template field column. In the edittemplate of that column i have a textbox. In the next column of the gridview i have a button. When i click the button i need to find the value of the before mentioned textbox. I do it like this:
gridview1.selectedrow.findcontrol("textbox1"). This sometimes work just fine and without a problem but sometimes it seems it can't find that control and throws a null reference object. The error it's random like i said, sometimes just work and other just don't work...

I have been trying to achieve the following:
1-Allow the user to change the quantity in a textbox i.e // "txtQuantity"
2-capture the newly entered quantity i.e //int integerNewQuantity= int.Parse(textNewQuantity.Text);
3-update the database using the newly entered quantity i.e. //UpdateItem(data,integerNewQuantity)
Problem:1-I have not been able to capture the text i.e. the newly entered quantity i.e. the value entered in the text box "txtQuantity"
2-Hence the database is updated using the existing value and NOT the new value unless I make a constant assignment as below:
textNewQuantity.Text = "2"; When tested the assignment of any number correctly updates the database. see the c# code:
