Is there a way to assign a value to the password field in the CreateUserWizard Control programmatically when the page loads. I would like to assign this value using a random password function that returns the password string without converting it an editable template.

"How to: Customize the ASP.NET CreateUserWizard Control" [URL]
In the final example, a wizard step, "CreateUserWizardStep0", is used to validate the username as unique before proceeding to the createwizardstep that collects the remainder of the user's registration information. In order to keep the user from changing this username on the next screen I have set the textbox for username to ReadOnly=true. However, this changes causes the registration to fail without ever executing the method "CreateUserWizard1_CreatedUser."

I have a form in aASP User Control (.ascx) file. Maxlength does not work for the multiline textboxe hence it is generated as a textarea, which has no support for this attribute. I could maybe use some asp validation, to prevent submission of too much text, but I want to prevent it to be possible to even enter too many characters, just like is possible for single line textboxes... I don't know if the control has any onload event that I could use to add attributes to the textbox from code behind and and combined with javascript fix this or anything..

I have a CreateUserWizard where there are two plain WizardSteps, then the CreateUserWizardStep, then CompleteWizardStep. In the CreateUserWizardStep I would like to use a reCAPTCHA control. Obviously when I go to the first plain WizardStep the reCAPTCHA control is invalid. So when I click the Next button from the first WizardStep the form isn't valid and I can't progress. I'm not sure how to handle this situation.
Custom navigation template somewhere maybe?

From the master page of my ASP.NET site I need to set the value of a hidden field in every get and post request and then subsequently read it in the next request. The problem is that in the post request the code works fine but when the client sends a get request I am unable to read the value of the hidden field from teh Master Page. Is the hidden field the proper approach to this and if so how do I read the value set in the hidden field in the subsequent get request. If the hidden field is not the proper approach for this then what else should I use?

I am developing a project in ASP.Net and C#. As per its requirement I have used CreateUserWizard control in FormView's InsertItem template to register a School just like a user registration to get rid of writing the code manually to register a schnool.
well, in CreateUserWizard control there is not any textbox control named username in its content Template because I have no need of this.
when I run this page I get following error.....
[Code]....
how to fix this?
I dont want, indeed I dont need, the username text field that's why I have removed this.
I have customized this control as per my requirements hence few default fields have been removed like username textbox field, therefore it may result more errors when I fix first one.
