Web Forms :: Stretch Image In Panel Works, But In Table Needs Minimum Width?

I have a panel where I have set a background image. (This image can stretch with the style I have declared) In this panel I have put a table with 3 Columns The table has width="100%" to be as wide as the panel. Each column has a label.
What I am trying to do is that Column 2 & 3 will have a static width and the Column 1 will have a dynamically width that can change if the browser window is adjusting its width.The problem in the code below is that the Column 2 & 3 width is getting smaller if the browser windows width is getting as small as possible. I am trying to have the width static all the way but in when the browserwindow get a very small width the columns
is getting small too.
Is it possible to set a minimum width to a <td> ?I have commented out the image to see more clear what happens. [Code]....

I have a panel and a background image. to stretch this image in the panel if the height is adjusting. I have tried to google this but have trouble find a solution for this.The image has the size: (647 X 158).
The only thing that will change is the height of the panel. Now it does repeat by default. no - repeat will probably only make the image its orignal size wich is not stretching it out over the whole panel.Otherwise I am thinking of change the size of the image itself in C#. [Code]....

If I have Small Background Image than panel size and I don't want it to be repeated ... i want it to fill (stretch) on Its PanelAnd I don't want to put a image control between panel tags like this :

Cause when i do this any Other Control I put after Image it appear also after image control not above it ... so I think i want to declare it as Image Background ... but how to make it stretch

I would like to continue my background image to the right end of the content holder and keep the menu items over on the left of the content holder. Does this make sense? For example, my menu items are dynamically loaded. Sometimes I have only two (Guest and Member). Right now my background image ends rignt after the "Member" item but I want the image to continue across the page. It is important to note that setting the "width" property in the CSS stretches the items across the page and this is not what I seek. Here's a bit of code.

I need to write a query to populate a gridview with minimum rates in ascending order for a month from three tables.For example i have three tables A,B,C as follows

I can't figure this one out. The pop up works data comes from web service and fades away pretty well in FireFox. In IE 8 the box has no width and you only see anything happening if the box below bottom of page showing you a vertical scrol bar as confirmation. [Code]....

In my report1.rdlc I have a table which use to fill with the dataset value. Some times the table in the dataset may have only 1 row some times 5,10 etc.How can I make the table in the report.rdlc such that at all times it should show minimum 5 rows ie if the dataset table contains only 1 row the report.rdlc table should contain 1 row with data and rest 4 rows blank

I have an asp:table in my webform consisting of four rows. The first and fourth row consists of one cell (columnspan=2) an row 2 and three has two tablecells each. The table width is set to 900px and each cell on the second row is set to width=450px. The third row is the one I have problem with. I want to set the first cell to width=300px and the secon to 600px but it is autoamtically set to 450px each just like row two. (see code below)?

Using VB, VS2010, I have a large image in a panel and want to be able to pop-up panels while hovering over it. This one large image is a picture of a lot of components that I woulld like to treat individually when I hover them. I have done this before by placing a transparent button in another panel that is absoultely positioned over the larger one. I have the button transparent with a border that shows up using hover in css. Everything works fine expcept that the panel does not show itself in the right place when viewiing in the browser window. It shows fine in design view, but shifts over while browsing in the browser. I have tried making all panels absolutely positioned. Still a problem. Is there a better way to put a panel over a panel?

I'm using a slightly modified version of Valum's upload [github link], I've modified it to upload to a database but haven't modified the javascript that it is using to get the file into the Request as an InputStream. The following line of code is failing in IE 8 but is confirmed to work in Chrome. using (Image imgInput = Image.FromStream(Request.InputStream)) The error received is "Parameter not valid". It appears to be having an issue with the Input Stream being used but it exists/has data (not sure how to validate if the data is good or not).

I have a panel withitn an updatepanel with some buttons.
When one of the buttons is pressed, I'm updating a different update panel.
The problem is that when I click the button, nothing seems to happen.
If I click the button again , then I see the first update. If I click it again, I see the second update and so on..

I want my users to upload their photos to my website. I am using fileupload for this. I have jquery to crop the image to desired size ( according to user).What I am doing is this, when a user uploads a photo, I use the uploaded image's address as ImageUrl , and the user gets its pic dynamically as soon as he uploads it.And then with the help of jquery , user can crop it to dimension of his/her choice. Finally, I get a cropped and smaller image. [:)]But the real problem is this, if a user uploads a picture of greater dimensions ( e.g. 1600x1200) , image covers up all the screen, so I want a method so that the uploaded image get restricted to a fixed height and width (say 500x5500) before it is available for cropping to the user.I have tried .......,Image's Width=500, Height = 500 ( using asp:image ) and attribute.add.style("width:500;height:500); ( using html img ) in code behind after uploading image . The image first appears in 500x500 dimension but immediately changes to its original dimension...

I have this code to create a pdf but its giving an errors saying table width must be grater than zero, and also on the generated pdf should show the items with the associated image, the items are in a gridview and each item has an image. Also a paging option i want to create to if paging is true it must generate the pdf with the actual gridview page else should create a pdf with all items and ignore which page are selected...

I use AsyncFileUpload to upload images. It works fine.In this code I check so the size isnīt bigger than 1 MB and that it is a .jpg file.What I also will need to check is that the Width isnīt bigger than 100 and the height isnīt bigger than 200.I wonder how that could be possible to do in the code.
