All I want to do is be able to add values to this array and replace preexisting array items with new values without the array changing size. Someone suggested that I use a Dictionary Array Object? Feb 22, 2010using c#, i have an array where i want to test every single line of this array if it is already contained in a table of a database. if not, i do an insert. the test if the line is already in the table is performed using update, if update fails i insert the line. this works BUT the table contains 100000 entries, the arrays i want to compare/insert contain appr. 5000 entries. so, i is really slow and takes minutes.

I have a public function, called display_error, written that displays some text in case of validation not successfull. So in this case, the validation of the date inserted by user would look like

I've tried different methods, like Parse, but I keep getting the same error, String was not recognized as valid DateTime.

Jun 25, 2010All of the examples I can find show the compare validator being used to see if two values are the same. Validation is succesfull if these values are the same, such as password confirmation.I want validation to succeed if values are not the same. I want to use this to be sure that someone doesn't enter the same value for two phone number fields. I want the two values to be different. Can the compare validator be used for this? I wasn't able to find any properties or examples that used it in this way. If not, how should this be done?

May 11, 2012I have a textbox and the date needs to be in between two dates. I want a popup message to display when they are out of those parameters. I don't want to use the Validator's because they make you put in a date to move forward.Â
One option is if I do use them is it anyway to add "out of date parameters" when they don't meet those dates then move to the next question?
Another option would be to just check the date, give an error message and move to the next question. Is it possible to do either one of these?

So I added a a Range Validator and Validator Callout ExtenderÂ
How can I get the page to check this range when the user enters in their dob in the dob textbox then when they go and enter a date in the bmidte box (if they are over 17 years of age) I want my error message to apper.
