I am beginner of asp.net and c#
Currently i am learning on create a website with appointment feature. The website i am doing basically a dental appointment web, which show the free slot of dentist on the website and enable patient to book appointment by schedule an appointment based on time and date given. I have done others thing such as register, login, report those however i have no idea on doing the appointment module. I am trying to learn easy way to create booking feature for dental website. Is that a tutorial on learning to do this or others way which i can easily learn it.
I want to create a Online Exam site in ASP.NET .In that i want to display Test based on the Date and time and the user can take the test at the time set my the Teacher.
For Example:
Teacher want to take C Test for the Mid Semester Test and the test is schedule on 1 May 2010,then the test should appear on the test page on the 1st may only and the user should be able to take the test on the set time.
The problem is that if i use System time then user can change the system time and can take the test schedule in future.
So i want to know how can implement this thing.I have given many online test but dont know how they work out the time and date logic.

The meaning of the error message is clear to me, and adding Me..Button1.Attributes.Add("onclick", "x.doMethod();") in codebehind works, but as you can imagine, that is not really what I want. How can I achieve my initial goal?
How do I exclude Web.config from server when publishing website (not web application project) in Visual Studio 2005 I can see information how to add setting to the Web.Config but in this instance the Web.config is fine on the servers; so I do not want the problem of introducing possible faulty Web.config to a live environment.

Also, my "AutoToolboxPopulate" is set to true, so things are showing up as I create them. My question is this: I'm sub-classing a native Control for specialized use. When I derive my class from an exposed concrete class, such as BulletedList, my custom Control appears in my Toolbox. However, when I drop it back to the parent, such as ListControl, my Control is not listed (actually it's grayed out when I "List All"). What am I missing?

Ive just been asked if its possible to use something other than a java library as our network engineers dont want to put the this on our server. Is there anything similar to java.util.zip that I can use in a vs2005 package ?

Most are either 'Name <control> is not declared.' or 'Type <type> is not defined.' And most, but not all of these errors are in the same .vb page.

View 1 RepliesI am maintaining a web site project in VS2005 and have to call a new web service on a remote server. I've done add web reference, and created the .wsdl and .discomap files in the app_webReference folder. When I try to create a object representing the web service in the code ( wsnamespace.serviceName ws = new wsnamespce.serviceName(); ) the code wouldn't compile.
The web site project is already calling other web services. When I right click on the type representing the web service and "go to definition" it takes me to a proxy class (derived from of course SoapHttpClientProtocol) in the metadata. I think this is what's missing for the new web service i'm trying to call. Have I missed any steps?
