Within my listview i have certain things that may not have a value returned.. I want to replace the empty fields with a value.
How can i format or replace my <%#Eval("contract_maintenance_period")%> with "N/A"
So if the <%#Eval("contract_maintenance_period")%> is empty, then in its place i want to display "N/A"
i would like to handle this within my aspx code.
i use this code for show and converting date in my grid view

I need to know what would be the best choice of array to use given the following specifications. This array's size will be predermined upon the loading of the appication. All I want to do is be able to add values to this array and replace preexisting array items with new values without the array changing size. Someone suggested that I use a Dictionary Array Object? As a last resort i tried to user DataBinder.Eval() but i get the exception "Expected class, delegate, enum, interface, or struct". What can i be doing wrong? Writing a function in code-behind isn't an option for me.
1: I have a .html file that has some markup with some placeholder tags.

4: PersonInfo.aspx is literally empty since I am injecting html from code-behind.
When the PersonInfo.aspx is called the html-template markup with appropriate values in the placeholder will be displayed. Also there are chances I would like to send the final markup in an html email (though that is not part of the question as I know how to email).
Is this the best way to fill values in my html-template or is the any other better alternative?
Note: This is a very simple sample example. My class is very complex involving objects as properties and also my html template have 40-50 placeholders.
So code in my step 3 will need 40-50 Replace statements.
If I have JSON like this and pass it to the engine I am using to create a PDF file, the word "null" appears on the PDF. This isn't really my example, but I googled "json replace null empty string" and this was a hit, which is a good representation of my data, also:

We use a rendering engine that creates a PDF from a fixed template and variable data in the form of a json string. But our customers don't want to read that the id is "null", they want to read that the id is blank. In my C# program, the json is just a string, so I can easily do something like this:
jsonString = jsonString.Replace("null,", ",");but the issue is I can't replace null-comma with a comma, because then it's invalid json.

All the date values on my website (whether from DB or returned by DateTime.Now) are represented in the format of mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss AM/PM, even though the database values of the dates are not that way at all.I want to change the format of all the dates to dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss without AM/PM.
How can I do that?
I have a SQL query I'm running in an ASP.NET page. The final parsed SQL needs to contain a list of string values in the WHERE [columnname] IN [values] format. For example, the final query might look something like this:
SELECT PRODUCTNAME FROM PRODUCT WHERE PRODUCTCODE IN ('ABC','DEF','GHI','JKL', /* etc */);
However, the string values in the WHERE clause need to be dynamic. Normally I use parametrized queries to make my code convenient and safe, so conceptually I'd like to do something like this:
String[] productCodes = { "ABC", "DEF", "GHI", "JKL" };
SqlCommand cmd = "SELECT PRODUCTNAME FROM PRODUCT WHERE PRODUCTCODE IN (@ProductCodes)";
cmd.Parameters.Add("@ProductCodes", productCodes);
However, this sort of functionality doesn't appear to exist in .NET. How should I go about implementing this? I could use a foreach loop on the array and run a query with a single value as a parameter for each value, but there could potentially be a hundred or so different values in the array and it seems like querying them separately would be very inefficient.
I've read another question where someone suggested a solution for strongly-typed int parameters, but that method would make me nervous about SQL injection when used with String values, especially since the client may very well be able to influence the input values.
How would you implement this query functionality?
