Web Forms :: How To Display Two User Controls

my default page contains 4 user controls. Control 1, control 2, control 3 and control 4. each user control has a seperate .ascx page and i am coding in each seperate page. the default page displays all the user controls together on one page.
i want to be able to display the data in user control 1 but working from user control 2 page.
do i need to design another .ascx page holding just these two user controls or
in user control 2 add user control 1 at the top or
use the default page to display the data in user control 1 and hide user control 3 and user control 4?

I have enabled User Rolls and assigned several Roll names such as 10, 11, 12, etc. I have a SQL Table that contains various fields of information including one named AuthorizedUserRoll, it's nchar(2).
A logged in user should only see the records in Gridview that matches his/her roll.
I'm using Web Forms and VB.

This is not really a question so I hope don't be fired! So I have to make a twitter like timeline, a superposition of blocks containing informations.
I really don't know how to make this.. The problem is the number of blocks aren't the same each time, sometimes it will be 1 block only, sometimes two or sometimes more..
So do I make some HtmlWriter to write the html directly? I pretty new in asp.net so maybe it is possible to do that more easily! With WebUserControl maybe, a block = a wuc so I can add the number of wuc I need.. I'm quite lost so maybe somebody have done this kind of thing already and can put me on the right way..

I have a table ticket where a field userid from user table . I am using entity data model.
I want to display user name against user id in Ticket table.
When I use List View and add data source from entity data model a Class of Ticket , I could not find a way to fetch username from user table against userid in Ticket Table.

Add 2 user controls and display them on your default aspx page. One control will be a simple list of store contact information. The other control will be a featured product control which displays a featured product of your choosing with an image and a description.
So i created a web user control page something like stewiecontrols.ascx
And I want to how to register the page <@control ...... src="" prefix name="" prefix tag="" /> the rest of the code in html <div> ..... </div> tags.
My question is this. I'm creating a master page and the default page is created using master page. So how do I register this .ascx page on default page. Should I register the .ascx page under master page or how. I want the user controls to only be shown on default.aspx page.

I am having treeview with checkbox and 1 submit button it is taking values from database. Now if i check the checkbox and click the submit button it should display the selected node in the textbox..... Here is my treeview code

I have a requirement like need to display 5000+ records in gridview. So, I created scrollable div with gridview init and displaying 200 records per page. The website is running very slow because eveytime when user click on paging, it retrieving all the records from the database. I need to increase the website performance. I heard about a concept Girdview lazy loading but i don't know how to implement. I am looking for a solution like records should display in gridview when ever user scroll the bar down. How to do the gridview lazy loading.

In my asp.net+vb web with access database. There is a label (messagetxt) in my default.aspx page. The table named Birthday contains the date of Birth of the persons of our group.
I am willing to display a message to persons whose Birthday comes on that day (i.e. day(now() & month now()) . as "Happy Birthday ....."

The goal, from internal department (user) perspective:A department wants to "upload" an excel spreadsheet of data (product, term, rate, etc) to SQL (this will be from the internal network). The data is then saved to a webpage location for that department to view and approve. Once "approved," this data is displayed on the live web servers (public-facing website which is two load balancing servers).
Bonus:
The .NET application/SQL Server can send an email to the department reminding them to upload the latest rates (each weekday morning, then each Thursday afternoon) if rates have not yet been "approved."
From the development perspective, this is my general idea, but I may be wrong.There are three spreadsheets, each with one tab. The first spreadsheet is uploaded, and the .NET application puts it in a SQL table. I then need to display this table of data on a .aspx page for the department to approve before the .aspx page is pushed to the live web servers.
First, I need an interface for this department to upload Excel files. I need this application to save the data to SQL and display it in a .aspx page so that the department can look it over and approve it. The department needs a way to "approve" the page, and this action will push the data to the live web servers. Will this involve SQL data transformation services?

I'm getting this error code in a voting system which I made.
"Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_Awards'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.Awards'. The statement has been terminated."
It's good because it means I am stopping people from voting twice, however, I want to display an error message in the site, and I want to make this occurance user friendly, as I have no idea how this error will look when the website is live.
