I have an asp.net control textbox, clicking on which a jquery timepicker appears and user can select any time.But I want to validate the selected time so that it is one hour greater than the current time in the client side. I mean when textbox value will be changed it should be validated.
I want to validate Time-Start and Time-End. The time format is like this 2:15:00 AM I want to make sure that the Time-End must be greater or equal to the Time-Start.
The Time-Start gets the time from DropDownListHourStart(1-12) and DropDownListMinuteStart(1-59) and DropDownListSecondStart(00) and DropDownListAMPMStart(AM-PM) The Time-End gets the time from DropDownListHourEnd(1-12) and DropDownListMinuteEnd(1-59) and DropDownListSecondEnd(00) and DropDownListAMPMEnd(AM-PM)
I want to check that time-end is equal to or greater than time-in. Can you show me any time validation technique? Whether it's jQuery, JavaScript, or ASP.NET control validator.
I found one link or web services [URL] which enable me to search whether email id exist in real world or not...Did some testing and it works. Is it possible to make similar web services and use it in my application? because i am not sure till what date this web services will work.
I need some pointers to start on this.We are building a time off application where three instances of a calendar control will be displayed ( prev - current and next month) now users can click on various dates accross all three instances and then a count of number of days should be diaplyed in the parent textbox.
To begin with this, i started with adding the dates clicked by the user in Calendar2_SelectionChanged method into a list<> so that i can get the all dates user clicked and then add it to calander's selected dates collection. But this throws an e" object reference not set" error.
Is there anyother way to get all the dates that user click onthe calendar( note the dates doesn't get highlighed so seleteddates doesnt work)does anyone has a good example for this.
once a user select an item from dropdownlist > Dates from DB are shown on calendar in pink color.
The problem now is when i want to select new dates the selected dates(in pink) become deselected .. I want them to stay selected so i can know which dates are already used .
I have two validationsummary controls on my page for aesthetic reasons. Each control is assigned a validation group (StudentInfo and Grades). validation controls in the upper part of my page are in validationgroup StudentInfo and those in the bottom part of my page are in validationgroup Grades.
However, I only have one "Save" button control that causes validation. I want the Save button to validate both groups of controls, but it appears to only allow one Validation group to be specified in its properties.
Is there a way to have a button cause validation for both groups?

I am generating multi-series graphs with the date along the X-Axis. The problem is that not all of the series in the graph have the same dates in the date range. Meaning that if I choose 1 Feb through 30 Apr that one series may have data that starts at 1 Feb but only goes through the end of March but another series may have data for the entire date range. This skews the charts I need to create. Go, given the date range taken at the begining of the query I'd like to generate a list of dates and populate the data to be graphed, padding those series with 0's for those dates that have no data.
how to suppress the "AM" in the gridview (template Bind("RideTimeMin", "{0:t}")? Don't tell me to use military time because the function is not "time on a clock"; it's how much time is allowed for a task (in this case the min/max hours & minutes that horses have to complete a 20 mile trail; e.g. 05:00, 05:27, etc). I'm currently accomplishing this in the "ondatabound" function by "..RTmin.Replace("AM","")". I have looked and looked at all the websites that talk about datetime formatting but have yet to find a way to do it upfront in the gridview bind statement.
I'm trying out the jQuery Validation plugin jQuery Docs Here is the markup of my form:
<% using (Html.BeginForm("action", "contoller", null, FormMethod.Post, new { id = "sxform" })){%> <div id="manifest"> Manifest Option:<br /> <%= Html.DropDownList("docid", ViewData["manifests"] as SelectList, new { @class = "required" })%> </div> <div id="release"> Release Version:<br /> <%= Html.TextBox("release", null, new { @class = "required" })%> </div> <div id="locale"> Localization:<br /> <%= Html.DropDownList("localization", ViewData["localizations"] as SelectList, new { @class = "required" })%> </div> <div id="label"> Label:<br /> <%= Html.TextBox("label", null, new { @class = "required" })%> </div> <div id="session"> Session ID (optional):<br /> <%= Html.TextBox("sessionInput", null, new { @class = "required" })%> </div> <div id="submit"><input type="submit" value="Build" /></div> <% } %> JS: $(document).ready(function(){ $("#sxform").validate(); });
I am using MS MVC HTML Helpers to render this form. The resulting markup looks fine. IE each input and selection element contains the attribute 'class' with the value 'required'. When I submit this form the validation does noting.
