Web Forms :: Unable To Render Pdf And Page Option Simultaneously?

I have a aspx.cs page that renders a pdf file directly.
To render the pdf directly i have to use ContentType="applicationpdf" in my .aspx page.
The problem I am facing now is:
I need a time-request field - namely, the user would have to enter the time (from and to) and hit Go and the pdf will be rendered according to the date-requested.
However, I cannot display the time-request (or page option) field and render the pdf simultaneously.

I have an image loaded in a div element. (This image will be added dynamically thru JS, based on the option selected by the user).
I have a requirement to open this image in Word, Excel and Pdf applications when those icons (given in the page) are clicked, respectively.

The same code works fine to render a gridview in excel, but not an image. I also tried placing the image element in a table tag.

I have a dynamic dropdown that is populated from sql. The user is supposed to select an option from the dropdown, then click a search button on the form to return some results based on that selection. It works fine if the dropdown gets populated with more than one record. However, if only one record is returned, that one record can't be selected. Whether you select it or just leave it alone since it's the only one, when you click the form button (search button), no results are returned b/c the dropdown selection must not be actually selected.
I've included the relevant code below. First the DDL, then the datasource, and finally the C# code in the if (!Page.IsPostBack)

i am having three pages.first of all i fill register page it will redirected to next page .again i will fill this pageto move to next page. in this time i want to go back to previous page and want to edit content of that prevoius page.in this time i got one problem like"Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_Skills'. Acctualy My page conatins lots of data, images and videos from the database, so m facing the problem in page rendring, rendring is too slow, and client requires as fast rendring as HTML, i have studied a lot and found.....
Retrive data with the help of XML creates fast page rendring mean Retrive data from database in XML and then bind all the data in page from that XML file.

Creating a simple CMs syetm and wish to provide the user with the ability to view the masterpage within a page. Basically want to render the masterpage and allow uses to drag a box within the contentholder areas. Similar to SiteFinity if anyone has seen that. I have had a look at other CMS systems and SiteFinity appears to be the only one doing this?

I am using EF Data model for my database activities and I figured recently that using views were hurting performance of the web application. After some research I decided to pre-generate my view and one of the initial step was to Change the Metadata Artifact Processing property to: Copy to Output Directory. But when I right click on my DB Model designer and check the properties for Metadata Artifact Processing I only see one option and that is "Embed in Output Assembly" I don't know why I don't see the option "Copy to Output Directory". I am Windows 7, 64-bit, VS 2010 Ultimate, .Net Framework 4.0

I want to create and render a dunamic page. Something like following:

But at RenderControl line, I get following Error:
RegisterForEventValidation can only be called during Render()
Is there a way to resolve it? At many forums I found set the EnableEventValidation=false in page directive. But this is a dynamic page and has no directive. Further this property is not available when I browse mypage properties.

I am using HTTP load testing tool to stress test my asp.net 2.0 application. I faced problem that, when I have 1 user access to the system (currently only test on login.aspx), it is very fast ~ 1-2 secs. However, when I run with 10 virtual users at the same time, it takes 10-12 secs for each.

My question is, why ALL of them also takes 10-12 secs? Is it normal? I was thinking that should be some users take 2-3 secs and some 5-6 secs and etc.

I have 2 Web applications in the same IIS with the virtual directory structure below:

both site1 an site2 are using form authentication and creating the token further adding in cookie as below,

My problem is when I'm logging in to Both site1 and site2 then these two are not running simultaneously on single browser using different tab for same user name.one is being logged out when logging to the other application and vice verse.

I've been watching a video on Scott Hanselmnn teaching MVC 2 tricks/tips. He mentions how MVC 2 by default uses ASP.NET Web Forms view engine to render the output of the views; he mentions that the web forms view engine is a little slower than it could be for MVC 2 since it generates a control tree and then outputs the HTML to the page (I hope I said that right).
I was wondering what he meant by web forms generating a code tree before outputting the HTML to the page. Does anyone have insight on the view engine of Web forms and the steps of the rendering process works for ASP.NET and MVC2?

'm using a gridview with paging and sorting in asp.net (language = VB).The gridview shows all the artists in my database. I've added a searchbox above my gridview, so users can search for certain artists by name.The search option works. If I enter the name: John --> it shows the artists who have the name John.Now for the problem:If the user filtered the gridview (for eample searching for John) and switches to another page of the gridview, the gridview is again filled with all the artists instead of the artists that are named John.

I downloaded it and worked fine. However, I wish you push it further adding the following features:
1- Download button: where after the bitmap is captured and published into the image control, a "Download" button can be clicked to force the client browser open the "Save As File" dialog box in order to enable the user download the image into his/her client machine after choosing his/her suitable directory path.
2- Email button + Textbox to type the target email: where after te bitmap is captured and published into the image control, a "Email" button can be clicked in order to send the captured image to any email the user had specified in the textbox.
Condition:
- Captured image shall remain as bitmap in memory. It shouldn't be saved in the server.
- Email shall be sent with the image placed in the BODY and ATTACHMENT.

I would like to display the following information for each "Camera" (in the format below) on my web page in an HTML table. All the data is contained in one table in my database:
For Camera = Canon (e.g.):
Type (Text via asp:Label)
Lens Size (Text via asp:Label)
Storage (Text via asp:Label)
Max. video resolution (Text via asp:Label)
Max. photo resolution (Text via asp:Label)
Weight (Text via asp:Label)
Dimensions (Text via asp:Label)
Sensor (Text via asp:Label)
...where (Text) is the value retrieved from the database for the given Camera. advise on the best way to retrieve this data? The only method I can think of (from my limited experience!) is to have a separate VB function for each value, to run separate SELECT queries for each field, and then to set the (Text via asp:Label)
value accordingly. I am already doing this for datagrid retrieves etc. For example:[Code]....
BUT... I know there must be a better method for the above requirement!

I use javascript to change TextBoxes's Status each time RadioButton.onClick
now I want to force controls in UpdatePanel render again eachtime RadioButton clicked..
I add _doPostback to my javascript..
the result is not ok... because I lost the value after page render again
for example,user fill in these value to controls

then user change controls like this
