I have a PayPal implementation using IPN and it works fine. However, in some cases, I will need to be able to send out an email to a user with a link to click on and pay an invoice amount. I'm not really sure how to do this - I know I can send them to a particular page on my site with query string variables - but what would the PP code look like to have the user see a button that says - "Pay X amount by clicking here".

I was having trouble getting my shopping cart to connect to paypal. So I wrote a simple webform that has one button and one label. If I comment out the response.redirect(url) and look at the content that get written to Lable1.Text it looks find. Also, if I copy the content of the label and paste it into my web browser it goes to Paypal and displays correctly.
However, if I uncomment the response.redirect(url) I get the following error: ERROR: Unable to Send to PayPal - Thread was being aborted.
I am testing from localhost??? Should I be able to test this from localhost?
I have put ??? where my Sandbox email address is.....I don't know if letting other see that or not is an issue....otherwise I would have left it in for someone to try this code.

I have a problem. I have a textbox where i enter the amount and in another textbox the amount in words comes automatically. The function appended below works fine when the amount entered is without a decimal. But if the amount entered has a decimal, then the function gives an error. This code works perfectly when the mail is read with Outlook. People get a clickable link which brings them to the right page. But the same mail read in Hotmail (or any webmail site) provides a non-clickable link.
I also tried with:

but then, i get no clickable link in Outlook.
