I want to conduct a quiz using silverlight. This quiz contains few questions and each question will have multiple choices (Radio Buttons). User should select one answer. After completing the quiz I need to display Result.
Is it better to provide the questions and options in XML Document and then retrieve it into silverlight class?
I need to design a website for a programming competition event. It will be similar to TOP CODER competitions. User will be given all questions & then user submits the code, that will be running on the server and checks if it gives the correct solution or not. The first one to finish all the questions is the winner.
I've no clue about how to proceed. Assume that languages that are supported are C, C++, Java.
I'm a winform/silverlight developer my asp.net skills are very poor.I've got a task to make a kind of popup with the code of conduct that users need to accept before they can continue.I have no idea how to do it so I googled some and found this javascript popup called lytebox which I actually managed to get to workproblems i have with it are:1. you can click next to the box and it closes too2. i want a yes/no button but the lytbox only has option for close/next/previous3. I dont know how to make it pop without user action (like clicking on a link:p)anyway this is not a must . if anyone can give me some good tips or guides or example how i can do this i'd be happy!

For viewing previous answer the user can click on previous button,so that he can see his previous marked answer and if feel he had marked the wrong option then he can mark the other one.
Some Problems:-when clicking the previous button the option which was marked in radio button list got unchecked!!So,the user is unable to know which he/she had marked before.I want that the option remains checked so that the user knows what he/she had marked previously.After completing the quiz how can the answers selected by the user be compared with the CorrectAnswer stored in database and can be displayed in the result page having four columns as QuestionID,CorrectAnswer,UserAnswer,Right/Wrong in a grid view. Though i am able to display the QuestionID and the CorrectAnswer in a grid view in the result page.

I think ListView is the best control to implement in a way that each Item is question and I need to display Option of the question using check box list.
In ItemTemplate, how can I specify such condition that give me the list of options to select for the user for the particular question in the same row. Just like this:

I know this question sounds crazy . but let's think for moment we use ASP.net to talk to a server.to Create files there ,to talk to a database etc. SilverLight can do the same thing ,right? We have an app template we've created in asp.net 2.0 that we use for our web apps. It has a header that hosts a couple controls (like a drop down for customer selection) and a language dropdown. It has a footer that's pretty static. In the middle is the content portion of the masterpage. Talk has come up as to whether we can make the content piece in SL4? I'm not sure how the two pieces (apps) would communicate - like for the customer selection changed. Has anyone done anything like this?

I have an aspx page which has a ASP.NET 4 menu control (rendered as ul/li's instead of tables) and a div right below it which contains a Silverlight .xap. When the user selects a menu item in the menu control, the Silverlight app gets updated. In IE 7 & 8, when I hover over the menu, the menu items are "hidden" behind the Silverlight and I can partially see only the first child item. However, the menu appears just fine in Firefox. I thought something in my CSS caused it and I removed all CSS references but it still stays hidden behind the Silverlight app. How do I bring the menu control to the front?Here's my menu -
