Finding Final / Effective Web.config Values (from Inherited Configurations)?
Apr 25, 2010Are there any apps that can show the final configuration as applied to a particular application directory? What I'm picturing is something along the lines of FireBug's CSS viewer.
Basically, it should show the equivalent single web.config file (as if you only had one), with all the values that apply to the directory in question, with each element (or even attribute) annotated with its source (the real .config file it came from).
deploying applications into foreign environments (eg, customer sites) where they sometimes have strange configs, that add in global includes (eg, they put the include in machine.config, instead of the web.config for that app) or have allowOverride=false, etc.

Usually we just can use the scroll wheel on mouse to drag downwards to reveal lower part of the page but I found this wheel is not working when the mouse pointer is over the report.
C# - HowTo Create Buttons In Code-Behind?
Feb 14, 2011My Code works perfectly with normal Buttons. But i need to add some Code-Behind to those dynamically added Buttons. Thus i'd need ASP:Buttons instead of Standard-Buttons.
How do i do this?
At the moment my working Code looks like this (only the important parts):
AjaxControlToolkit.AccordionPane nrX = new AjaxControlToolkit.AccordionPane();
Button b = new Button();
b.OnClick += Eventhandler(my_function);
nrX.ContentContainer.Controls.Add(b);
Currently the Eventhandler is not called. When i look at the produced source in the Browser, there is noch onclick Event or anything like that which is (i think) the problem.
So how can i change my "Button b" to an "ASPButton" b? Adding an attribute "runat="server"" doesn't do the trick, as this code is (of course) executed after the page_load..Or am i getting something wrong?

1)Radio Button 1 - search by Account Number - txtAccountNumber
2)Radio Button 2 - search by Customer Last and First Name - txtLastName, txtFirstName
3) Radio Button 3 - search by Customer ZipCode - txtZipcode
One search button - btnSearch
By default, the search button is aligned to the txtAccountNumber (next to txtAccountNumber)
If option 2 is selected, the search has to align to txtLastName, and other txtboxes are visibly disabled
If option 3 is selected, the search has to align to txtZipcode. and txtboxes are visibly disabled
I tried the followings, but it did not work.
Protected Sub rbSearchZipcode_CheckedChanged(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As EventArgs) Handles rbSearchZipcode.CheckedChanged
txtAccountNumber.visible = false
txtLastName.visible = false

This worked for windows form, but not for web form.

I'd like for where there is a 1 for it to display a checked radio button, and where there is a 0 for it to be unchecked. This can then be edited by clicking the radio in another column where necessary.

Two Buttons Posting To Different Locations?
Dec 10, 2010I have an asp .net form and within it two buttons. One button posts to a page, the other posts to self. I don't have an issue, but some users report that upon pressing the first button that posts to another page, then pressing back in browser, the button that should post to itself and do stuff code behind posts to the other page. a bit of code here but its standard stuff

MVC Can Work With Two Submit Buttons

Both must submit the form data to the controller, but the actions the perform are different.If the user clicks Button A, the form is submitted, the model is modified, and the model is returned to the form with some updated information. I'd also like to make a visible if Button A was clicked. So, initially, the is not visible, but if button A has been clicked, when the view is re-displayed, the must be visible. (Possible?)
