this creates button which has lot of space before and after text. If clicked in this space, button click is ignorred since it is outside generated <a> element. Only clicking in button text invokes action.
How to fix this so that clicking everywhere in button invokes action ?

May 19, 2010I'm trying to create a webpage that allows the user to click a button and it will open up a folder on their local hard drive. I've tried doing this in html and javascript, but from what I've read I don't think it is possible (reguardless I want to do it in asp.net so I can learn about it). However I was able to open up a folder when the page loads with asp.net using C#. My problem is that I cannot figure out how to get it to run when the user clicks a button or a link. How can I make the C# CodeBehind run when the user clicks a button?
