We have a Datalist in which we have some data, with every Item we have a button control, What i want to achieve is that on the button click, the data related to that particluar row of Datalist is fetched whose Button control is clicked. How to accomplish this, The problem is how to attach the button control with values related in that partucular row, Note that I am using ArrayList as the Datasource since I am enabling pading via pageDataSource class...

We have a Datalist in which we have some data. Out of the 6 columns present in the datalist one of them is the primary key. Each row in the datalist has a "plus" button that will expand in the same window and display other data related to the primary key(in the same row)other than the 6 columns data that is displayed.
What I want to achieve is that on the button click, the primary key related to that particular row of Datalist should be fetched into a variable(whose button control is clicked). How to accomplish this? I am not able to find a solution as to when I click one of the buttons in a row, the particular primary key for that specific row should be attained so that I can call another function and hence retrieve the other data needed.

i have a datalist to display the details of item from table "PRODUCTS" of my database, in datalist has link button .. on click on linkbutton i want to store the values (name & price ) of that row in the another table "ORDERS ". I am using jquery -ajax method for it .. but on button click the code work fine and values inserted in table "Orders" without any postback , but its happens only once i;e when i click again nothing happens, no values inserted , neither show any error. .

I have a datalist control which uses repeatcolunm. I want to make Datalist items clickable and get the clicked item value into a textbox outside the datalist. I did this and it works only when I set "RepeatLayout="flow"" which cancels the "repeatcolunm" which is very necessary in my case. Below is code:

Here is my code through which i can generate dynamically 2 checkbox group

There is two checkbox group which have same datasource, so in both case same checkbox are showing and also same event is firing for both. Here is the event code

Now what i want to do is, while check one checkbox from the 1st checkbox group the same checkbox should be selected from the second checkbox group automatically, also if i deselect one checkbox that should be deselect from both checkbox group.

Am building a Form for out intranet that runs on ASP.NET and C#, it is to be a survey from a SQL database. I have the connections setup can pull informations/Questions from the database. I am having a problem with setting up radio buttons within a datalist, ive never done this and i know they require unque names.
It is to be 4 radio buttons per question where only one can be select, i know how to group just not via a datalist with unique names
