Dec 6, 2012I've used TinyMCE Editor for textareas in my webpage, it works fine but the problem is, When I select a only listed language English in Toggle Spell Checker it is throwing a javascript error.
I don't want to display the list (arrow for selection) for language selection as i only show English language in the list of Toggle Spell Checker.
How can i show only Toggle Spell Checker button, not language selection list?

Multilingual Website and i have implemented that i works good .but there is new problem arrising. suppose my default language is english set in internet option so the whenever website reloaded or redirected then all content will show in english language but
when i changed it to hindi then current webpage converted to hindi but after that if i pressed any button on current page or i redirected to any other link of particular website then again hindi is converted to english.

Jan 22, 2010I have downloaded and reviewed this tutorial [URL] several times. It seems simple enough however the app_GlobalResource file is not working... so here it is.
I downloaded the sample project c# version, the website run nicely except for the global part. When I change the language in IE8 it doesn't change on the page. What is missing, is there something in IE 8 that needs to be turned on or off? I have Win7x64, VS08, IIS running asp 2.0 and IE8.
When I am inside VS08 and use the expressions property the app_GlobalResource link is there (the default) but doesn't switch between the languages.

I tried to solve the problem with routes and I guess it will work just fine but I need some constraint inside my route;

in 1st route, I do not need the language so it will pass without language. I am only excepting integer on this route as you could see on the id constraint.
what I need is that;
in the 2nd route, I need a constraint that specify language variable only can be en or tr. how can I write that?
Architecture :: Multi Language Database Content?
Jan 27, 2011The content of the web site I am creating is expected to store data for multiple languages. What I mean by the content is the actual data stored in the database (SQL Server 2008 R2). For example I have a database table to store available packages and one of the columns in this table is the description which is shown on the web site. This description should be stored in multiple languages for example (en, fr, de). What is the best way(s) to get this done, I can of course have the same table with multiple columns (each column representing a single language) and code the data access layer to load the proper column based on the current language, but is there an easier way? An ideal situation is where like in ASP.NET the database automatically detects the current language and return the proper column

Apr 6, 2010I am on .net 2.0 and using the Ajax calendar on ajaxcontroltoolkit version 1.0.10920.32880 and am using the multi-language capability built in. There is one issue. The word "Today" doesn't get translated. I have tried an older version of ajaxcontroltoolkit and the word "Today" does get translated. In the1.0.10920.32880 there is the ability to set the popup position of the calendar control and in the older version where the "Today" translation works it doesn't. Even in the sample source code of the ajaxcontrol tool kit the word today doesn't get translated when I set the culture to a culture other than english.
Is there a version that works with asp.net 2.0 that the translation works?

The portal site (and all others of course) is multilanguage, depending on users browser settings. Could I enable caching on the portal site? I don't have a language parameter given in the URL explicit. Could I set up the cache to create different caches depending on the users language set in the browser?

but the text doesn't change and no error messgae

Mar 26, 2010i m developing an application with richtextbox control and asp spell checker control in it.the prblm faced is that Spell check is happening but the change of wrong spelling is not taking place
The scenario in which it doesnt work is i Put some text in RichTextBox field then click on "spell check" button. It will prompt for the spelling mistakes, but when we select correct spelling it is not copying it in Rich text box contrl.
Note:the same scenario is working when i use simple text box contrl with asp spell checker contrl.
