I have 200 record in reportviewer chart but show only first page not showing remaing page
what setting need to do in order to see remaining pages
I have upgraded web application from VS.2008 to vs 2010. I was using previously ReportViewer 2008 control in a page and replaced with 2010 ReportViewer Control.
I have installed the ReportViewer Redistributable also in my local pc as well as in the server. Also as per the new requirement I have placed the Scriptmanager in the web page where the reportviewer control located.
While running the page, the reportviewer run the report and is not showing the data on the screen. It shows the blank screen. But If I export the data to execl or world it is showing the data. Also the page numbers in the reportviewer showing the total pages available in the navigation bar. I am sure the report is running and bringing the data to the screen but not showing it.
I'm trying to put Google's BarChart and PieChart both the client side version, and i'm experiencing some problems with the labels over the pie and the labels on the left of the vertical axis (of the bar chart).
I checked the code a lot of times and it seems to be like that you can see in the examples.I've tried the same page on Firefox and Chrome and it shows the labels without problems. If i try the examples on IE8 the labels are shown but not in my page.Sincerely I've not any idea where to start to fix this thing.
I'm having problem with MS Chart chart type column. If there are only 9 bar in the chart like the following picture, then the axis-x label show up properly.
However, there are more than 9 bars bar the chart, the axis-x label wont show up properly, some of them just dissappear.
Here's my mark-up for the chart:
[code]....
I don't know it works with only 9 bars? Is there any way to make the chart work properly? Also, if possible, how to make each bar have different color.
I am creating a column and line chart in the same chart using reportviewer 2008.
The chart got two y series 'Number of product order' as column chart and label on left side of chart (unit number count) and total value of orders as line chart with label on right side of chart (unit $ value). Month is on x axis. I am wondering whether it can be done in reportviewer.
I am having a folder with the name "MyPoints". I have created a new master page inside that folder.
I created aspx page outside the folder "Mypoints" and also inherit the master page.
When i run the child page, I cann't able to view the images in the master page.
When i put the page inside the folder "Mypoints", i can able to see the master page image.
A project I own was just moved from an older server to a new one, and in the process of moving the web folder, re-deploying the SSRS reports, restoring the database, configuring IIS, etc... I have lost the ability to view the Microsoft Chart Controls that are embedded in the SSRS reports, that are then displayed by a Microsoft.ReportViewer.
I could view them both locally and remotely (via the internet) on the old server. I can view them if I preview the SSRS report in Visual Studio. The report displays fine, only missing all the embedded charts. I can still view them locally through the web browser, just not from the internet.
I tried giving permissions to the ChartImageHandler temp storage folder, but it didn't work.
I'm getting the Javascript error: Error: ClientReport380ec8ca0c294a809e9986c1bef9db1c is undefined
I need to generate a report by comparing two values in rdlc in c#.net
I am having a product with the price Rs 150 in 2010.
In 2011, the product price rises to Rs 200
In 2012, it decrease to Rs. 100
I need to show this in chart.
It should display as Waves.
I am showing Custom Error in my page.if somehting happend wrong. but if the same error occured in my subview master page I am not able to show the Custom error page on Entire page its showing me that Error page under subview master page.I am attching the Screen shot. Can any body help me out how to show the Error page on entire page if something happend in any where submaster or other page. Here is the code that I am using in web config file to show custom Error page..
[CODE]...
Here I know the issue what's going on.This issue is occurring because i am using AJAX to partially load the contents of the tabs after the initial page load so the error is occurring AFTER my master page has been loaded. What I need to do is provide a javascript function to handle the error after the ajax call has returned and redirect to the error page. How to write this Javascript and where Do I need to write this?
I have a ReportViewer displaying a report that is very wide.
How to have ReportViewer extend to full width of the page on IE ?
I have a Reportviewer control linked to Report1.rdlc with a matrix with Drillthrough activiated. When I click the "+" buttons to drill through, even I enclosed the control with Penal etc it still caused the whole page refreshed which is annoying. The same Panel code works well on other ASP.net controls on page on running.
View 1 RepliesI realise this is a fairly common question, but I have read this forum, and many other sources - and simply cannot resolve this.I have a website - www.domain.com, hosted by ASPHostCentral. Reporting Services is on my account.service web service URLThe report manager URL is http://ssrs.domain.com/reportsmanager My reports and connection live in a folder called "Matthew McNally".ASPHostCentral setup a user and password, and I can visit both of those sites, enter the username and password, and view the sites. I can upload a test report, and view it in both sites.I cannot get a web page with a reportviewer control on it to display the report - due to the 401 error message.

i have successfully deploy my reports to our SQL reportserver and i was able to display it in a reportviewer in my site. but my problem is my reports is requiring a parameter to display the report, at first the parameterPrompt is were i manually
encode the parameter value, but i need to dynamically pass the parameter value without manually encoding it in the parameterPrompt.
I am trying to integrate an existing SSRS report in asp.net. 1. created the report and deployed it. 2. In the web page, have a reportviewer and trying to attach the same report. The report's url is :http://ReportServername/Reports/Pages/Report.aspx?ItemPath=%Clinical+ReportQ: What is my ReportPath and reportServerUrl? Is there something else I need to do? Should I copy over the rdl file to the report server?
View 4 RepliesI am having an issue with my reportviewer where nothing is visible, not even the control. If I add other content, it shows, but the reportviewer is not. I am using the 9.0.0.0 version of the control with SSRS 2005 inside an MVC 2.0 application. I have built and deployed the report to the server. I have confirmed by looking on the report server and running it there.
My app is MVC 2.0
I have added a regular webforms page into the root of the website. I put it in a form, runat=server, and enabled viewstate. I have added the .aspx routing exception My code behind is set up similarly to every example I can find. My webconfig is configured (maybe that is where my issue is) I set up a manual test by forcing the correct values in and I get the same blank page. I have a reference to the 9.0.0.0 versions of Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms and Microsoft.ReportViewer.Common and as you can see my web.config matches my references.
The page appears white - no control is visible. No errors are thrown. As I remembered it, there should at least be a blank Reportviewer control on the page, however there isn't anything there at all.
A few other oddities - If I remove the parameter setting, no error occurrs. I also added code to send in credentials, but that did not work, even when sending in the credentials for the administrator account.

I'm trying to create a page that displays a databound gridview to the user showing them the items being processed. Then the page should immediately begin processing. The problem is that the page never shows the gridview (or any other control) until the process is complete. The process is being sent to a WCF service. I've tried setting the page to async and running the wcf in async mode but the content still fails to display.

View 3 RepliesI'm using VS2005 / VS2008 and MSSQL RS 2005 + ReportViewer v.8 or v.9.
Problem: when user makes drillthrough click on "plus sign" on Matrix row postback occurs. Then scroll position is lost! It scrolls to the top of the page. It's very bad for report users.
The most interesting thing is that it happens only within ReportViewer! I works acceptable if I open report via "localhost/ReportServer/Pages/ReportViewer.aspx?..." . It's based on something similar to ReportViewer :
[code]....
And it remains scroll position well!
Is there a way to make ReportViewer working correcly? (remembering scroll position on Matrix row drillthrough postback)
I read that Report Viewer 10 (of VS 2010) will lack this issue but it doesn't support MSSQL 2005 which I plan to use so far.
