I have a method which returna a string array. Is it possible to set a string value to the first element in that array without first declaring the string array e.g.:
myString = getStringArrayMethod(someValue)[0]
How do I convert XML to string and get the element value?
Example XML

<Option1>x</Option1>
<Option2>y</Option2>
<Option3>z</Option3>
</Example>
If i wanted to get
option1 it would return x,
option2 returns y,
option3 returns z.
etc....

I am really struggling with this! Using the regular expression validator I created an expression, thus ":" to show an error message if the user tries to enter in a name that contains a colon. What I am getting is the error message showing even when there is no colon (:) in the string. What am I doing wrong?

I want to send input from input_box to a query string, and then keep this input in the input_box when the page reloads.
