C# - Enumerate Keys In In A System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary<string,string>?
Jan 26, 2011
At debug time I would like to see what are the keys in my InitParams collection - I can't seem to be able to list them.
EDIT:As Jon suggests below, this might be a bug within the Silverlight debugger. To reproduce, just create a new Silverlight Application within Visual Studio 2010 and just edit code
{
public partial class MainPage : UserControl
{ [code]...
Calling Index view is giving me this very very annoying error . Can anybody tell me what to do about it
Error:The model item passed into the dictionary is of type 'System.Collections.Generic.List1[MvcApplication13.Models.Groups]', but this dictionary requires a model item of type 'MvcApplication13.Helpers.PaginatedList1[MvcApplication13.Models.Groups]'.
public ActionResult Index(int? page) { const int pageSize = 10; [code].....
However, when I try to build the control I'm getting the error as shown in the subject. I've tried searching, and it seems the signature for the original function matches the one I have, and all other solutions I've seen uses the same signature.
I dont know what I have done but my add blog or news item functionality is broken. It works fine locally but not on the server (.net 3.5 mvc 2 I believe).
[Code]....
The interesting thing is the path P:Web_DevelopmentAHNDEVControllersAdministratorController.vb. This is my local path on my machine but not the
public class Package { public Package() { name = ""; type = new List<Dictionary<string, string>>(); } public string name { get; set; } public List<Dictionary<string, string>> type { get; set; } } [code]...
How can I do this using XmlDocument?I want readability over performance, and I find XmlReader to be hard to read b/c you have to keep checking the node type.
I have two sub routines that I've created to pull in my Membership user roles and assign the value/name of that role to the value of a cookie.
My first subroutine looks like this
[Code]....
At this point, role ID is a 1-dimentional array which is not acceptable for a cookie's value (it must be a string), but in Debug mode, I can see that the array does contain the correct roleID value. In my 2nd subroutine I change the value from array to string for no other reason than that it gives me an opportunity to see that the value of CookieValue() before it is converted does have the correct roleID.
[Code]....
Even though it still shows that string as having the correct value, it returns the object "System.String[]"
I have a ASP.NET (C#) web page in which I want to enumerate a dictionary in a code render block:
<% foreach (Dictionary<string, string> record in parsedData) { %> <div>...Some HTML Code...</div> <% } %>
But I get an error like:
Compiler Error Message: CS0246: The type or namespace name 'Dictionary' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
How do I import System.Collections.Generic into the page itself? Here is my page directive:
The coding language is C#3.0What is the most optimum method to retrieve all hashtable keys into string separated by a delimiter ","Is the for loop or the foreach loop the only option?
can i add string builder object to a dictionary object? If yes code it. I mean i have a dictionary in which i have already added a few (string, objects), and i have a string Builder which has few variable already added now i want that instead of passing 2 different object in a method i want to pass only one object so can i add string builder object to same method as well
Is aspnet_regiis.exe secure? If i encrypt using aspnet_regiis.exe, will it automatically decrypt the string and wont give any error? Need an insight into this stuff.... Is Rsa the best option or wat? Wat's the best way to encrypt/decrypt programmatically?
I checking to see if we have any way to return all the keys to array without using the for each loop (there is no constraint for me to use for each loop i am just looking is there any other way)
How to use Generic collection and generic list effectively in a asp.net application i.e. web application.? Can we able to use Generic list in Dataset or Datatable or Datareader using to bind in Grid view?
I'm trying to use a Generic list for my class but I'm getting this error "Conversion from type 'EnumerableQuery(Of VB$AnonymousType_105(Of String))' to type 'String' is not valid."
I am attempting to use SqlBulkCopy to import data from an XML document. I receive the following error when executing WriteToServer: Invalid cast from 'System.String' to 'System.Guid'
