Unable To Get Values From JSON Converted From XML?

I have passed some JSON to my page via a webservice. I used JSON.NET to convert XML to JSON. The JSON output looks ok to me, but I am unable to access some of the items in the response. I am not sure why it is not working. I am using jQuery to read the response and make the webservice call. Even when I try to read the length of the array it says 'undefined'

I am getting int values from the stored procedure. I have developed a wcf service for asp.net ajax client. It includes the following steps.
(1) Created WCF sevice contract with the operation "DoWork()" which will take string as input and retun string as output.
(2)Implemented the above operation contract(attributed the implementation class with aspnetcompatibility requirement as enabled).
(3)Added the webscriptenabled to endpoint in web.config file.
(4)Hosted the wcf servie.
(5)Downloaded the javascript file from the service.(e.g.,http://localhost/service1.svc/js)
Client
(1)Opend new asp.net webapplication.
(2)Added the downloaded .js file.
(3)Given the scripts path for ajaxscript manager as both .js file and service url.

I originally have the question posted here, but I need as many eyes as possible on it.Essentially, I'm having issues redirecting to an action in mvc2 when working with JSON data. I post a stringified JSON object to an action and the action in turn redirects as needed. It worked previously when using form fields, but not when I'm posting JSON. To get posted JSON objects to properly bind to parameters objects in MVC, I'm taking advantage of the JsonValueProviderFactory class from MVC2Futures/MVC3Beta.Why is this occuring? The jQuery ajax call is telling the server "I'm giving you json, I expect html in return" and all actions pointed to via RedirectToAction calls are structured in a similar manner. I instead get stuck in a loop, continually hitting the originally requested action, with a prompt to reenter authorization information to boot! I try to use the jquery + json to get all elements in form and build a JSON var to post in a ASP.NET MVC method.

It method get all fields in a form and build a JSON, but it dont put JSON inside JSON.
Example:
If i have the follow form:
<input name="person.name"><input name="person.age"><input name="person.address.street">
The serialized string build a JSON like this

I need a plugin or some function to generate like this:

How to return values from Webmethod to the client in JSON format? Upon clicking a button I need to send a collection and a few other variables to server in Json form.For each value in the collection the server code (C# ) wil update those other variables in the DB.
For example there is a ‘classnumber’ collection with values (First, Second, Third, ….),other variables (‘teacher_name’ and ‘subjectname’).For each value in the ‘classnumber’ collection I need to update the ‘teacher_name’ by searching for the ‘subject_name’ in the DB.So I need to pass the ‘classnumber’ collection,’teacher_name’,’subject_name’ values to server in json form. At the moment instead of sending the ‘classnumber’ collection I am sending ‘teacher_name’,’subject_name’,’classnumber’ as variables for each value in the collection ,which requires multiple requests made to the server.
Instead of these individual requests I am wondering if there is a way to send all the data at once to server in json form?

If I have JSON like this and pass it to the engine I am using to create a PDF file, the word "null" appears on the PDF. This isn't really my example, but I googled "json replace null empty string" and this was a hit, which is a good representation of my data, also:

We use a rendering engine that creates a PDF from a fixed template and variable data in the form of a json string. But our customers don't want to read that the id is "null", they want to read that the id is blank. In my C# program, the json is just a string, so I can easily do something like this:
jsonString = jsonString.Replace("null,", ",");but the issue is I can't replace null-comma with a comma, because then it's invalid json.
how to I make the rendering engine *and* my customer both happy?

I am new to WCF, I was using web service asmx before. I have trouble on making my wcf JSON ajax service work through http like asmx.Could you help me see what wrong in my code?My WCF services are defined in my website application folder. My aim is to call this service in my aspx page java-script code and return complex object back as JSON to my javascript. I have no problem on doing this through classic asmx web service.
When I try to test it through my browser by type this in the URL , URL-http://localhost:3849/WebServices/Account/WCFCompanyService.svc/GetAll. it return "Method not allowed."
But if I type just this URL-http://localhost:3849/WebServices/Account/WCFCompanyService.svc, it return this:

I have a text file named gisQuery129.json that is created using Json.NET - [URL] There is an example on how to create a JSON file and I have done that successfully, but I want to read the file on a page load event and add the values to .NET textbox controls for input values in a query. The created file looks like the following:

In my javascript code I am getting json string from cs file
var tmpString="<%=resultset2%>";
In cs I am concatenating strings to build json string. Here is an issue the json string is returned as a string and it has " with it.
"[{id:'1',name:'Aik'},{id:'2',name:'Aik or Aik'}]"
Because of " in beginning and end javascript code treat it as a string.

I've spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to do a drop down for filters. Right now I have two filters as a textbox but I want a dropdown list instead as I would be adding few more filters. This is my index page:

I have a custom control that inherits from .NET's CompositeControl class. This control overrides the CreateChildControls in order to build its child controls dynamically. I need the page to post back after a couple different javascript events occur on the client side.

I've been tasked with implementing a JSON feed on an asp.net website that will be consumed by 3rd party apps (such as IPhone, Android, etc) and I'd like to follow best practices.
An example of what I'd like to achieve would be something similar to: [URL]
I've chosen the JSON.net api as this seems to be highly recommended.
My Google-fu must be failing me as I can't find a single full example code for an Asp.net web application with JSON.net implemented on it, so I've no real concept of where to begin.
My question is fairly simple:
Should I create this sort of feed as an ASPX, or ASHX file? Or even a .NET Web Service? (Remember that the tools that will be using this feed are on external apps like IPhones, etc)
I created a test feed in both ASHX and ASPX format ... here is the code (I'm using Subsonic to populate the collection) ... are either of these along the correct lines?

I have a GridView on my page and I have bound a custom DataSource (DataTable populated from an SQL query) within an UpdatePanel. I have set the OnRowUpdating property and create the code behind stuff as well as setting AutoGenerateEditButton to true. The problem I have is that when I click on 'Edit', then change some values then click 'Update', I can only get the old values.

All of the other posts I have read have mentioned the GridView being bound on post back or within a RowDataBound event but I'm pretty sure that I am not doing that.The RowUpdating event does fire but the value of Jockey, for example, is still the original.

I have a page (page1) with 4 controls that serve as the parameters for a report. The submit button does a cross page postback to another page (page2) that contains a ReportViewer control.Unfortunately, I cannot read the values from page1 once I get to page2. Here is the source to page1:
