On the following website, when I click the dropdown for the Login at the upper right, it is displayed behind the silverlight map. I can't use windowless mode because this would disable scrolling and menus on the map. I have tried putting the z-index everywhere, but I can't seem get it to work.

i m facing a issue in my code i m calling a user control which is in master page, and in row databound i m calling it and it is working fine but on select index change of checkbox it is not working

This is my first silverlight Application. I am trying to use Rating Control from 3.0 Toolkit with VisualStudio 2008 Here are the problems: I am unable to see designer view after adding Rating Control and few other controls. I am not getting any errors or warnings on markup or while compiling. Trying to access Property window for any control is giving me this message " Property Editing not available". Is this the way silverlight was made available with Visual Studio or is there something I am missing here?

i am using silverlight plugin 3.0 to display the chart.it is working fine on local pc but it is not working on server,it is not displaying any thing.
i have checked the MIME type also in iis.its over there.
I am populating a DropDownList from a text file (class requirement).
The file is read in the Page_Load method and the DropDownList is populated then.
When I press the Submit button, throughout the process of the code it is supposed to get the SelectedIndex and use it to grab a value out of a List(Of ).
The thing is, nothing is ever passed through. I even setup an alert box and it passes right over the alert box and never even triggers it, but gives me an Index out of range error when it moves to the line right after the Alert.

I'm using a ModalPopupExtender, Modal1. This shows an animated gif & tells the user that the page is loading. The z-index for Modal1 is 2001. The z-index for the background of Modal1 is 2000. This is working fine until a second modal is displayed.
I'm using a ModalPopupExtender, Modal2. This allows the user to add data & process a record. The z-index for this Modal 2 is 1001 The z-index for the background of Modal2 is 1000
When the submit button is clicked in Modal2, Modal1 appears above Modal2 but the background for Modal1 is behind Modal2.
Is it possible to have the Background for Modal1 appear above Modal2 when the submit button is clicked?

I am suddenly experiencing a strange behavior from UpdateProgress in Firefox.
The UpdateProgress div and animated gif display fine, but they STAY on the screen. It is as if the page never finishes the partial postback. But it does, because you can see data change on the page. However, some buttons are not accessible.
Im using Visual Studio 2010 in Windows 7.
I got a problem regarding CSS in my pages. I managed to apply styles to my page using css and everything looks fine in the Design view. I ran it on IE8 and everything is working fine. Now after I returned to Visual Studio, added some rules to my CSS, and noticing that everything is working fine in the Design view, I ran it again in IE8 and nothing has changed. The rules I added was ignored and it looks the same. I ran it on Firefox and Google Chrome and it's working fine.
But if I ran my project in IE8 through IIS7.5, everything is working fine so it means, the problem is within visual studio 2010.
Im working on an ASP.Net web forms application, where I have a form and the Index is working correctly, until I select a value from one specific control, a dropdownlist. After that no matter what control I am on if I press TAB it will go to the URL/Address Bar, from there to the search bar and then again to the URL bar...

Basically I use javascript to pop open a window with a datepicker which they use to populate a textbox on the main page with a date. However, if I set a defaultbutton, when i click one of these buttons the popup window flashes to the front of the screen and then the main browser window gets focus over it. Without default button the popup stays on top.

In design mode for an aspx file:
1. The Split and Source tabs are not working.
2. I can not drag and drop controls from the Toolbox to the design surface.
i have only one element in drop downlist so selection index change is not working. the datasource is given to run time. if it was on designing time i can give the select one list item. but at run time what should i do?

I have the zidex of other controls as 120 but still the CalendarExtender appears below other controls of the page how do i change the appearance of calendar control II mean templates and when i select the date from CalendarExtender it shloud appear in the text box in dd/MM/yyyy format...
when I load the web page the image's file size stays the same rather then reduce.
