I have a .swf flash gallery that loads pics from a XML file.the probelm is when I modify the XML the modifications do not reflect on the flash till I delete the browsing cache from the browser
I tried to disable caching using code like this

Response.Expires = -1;
but not working
I have done an multiple upload with uplodify jquery, but when i check it in a system with no flash player installed a blank area is present in the region of the uplodify flash button, how can i show the user some missing plug-in like in other sites to install latest flash player plug-in... or suggest some option to make upload possible in a button click (single/multiple) even when user don't have flash installed.

I currently cache everything possible on my site (images, JS, CSS). There is only one JS file that I need to be loaded fresh every single time. How do I omit just one file from caching, using web.config, whilst leaving everything else cached?
Note that I tried another link here, and it didn't seem to stop the caching of my file: How do I disable caching of an individual file in IIS 7 using weserver config settings
What am I missing here? The data is being cached and I need to turn it off.

This works fine, however, in some instances when by page is loaded my code behind disables the same check boxes. When this happenes my original check box nolonger seems to have any influence in enableing or disabling - there is no error and all the elements seem to be found by the javascript - it just doesn't enable/disable the checkboxes.

while i was using flash movie on my application nobody was able to watch it . However I know the reason that is flash plugin should be installed on client side. So here i want to deploy a msg or utility to install a flash plugin as:
there should be a button having text install flash plugin now and on clicking it setup should execute on client side so that it will run setup and every body will be able to watch it.

I am try to get the title bar to flash, using very basic HTML. I've given it a shot, but the code below doesn't seem to work, and I have no idea why. Also, is there a way to make the title bar flash text, but only if the user is not viewing the current browser page?

I am a student and i want to make online gaming website as a part of my academic project.
Now the problem that i am facing is that as it is an academic project i have to use downloaded swf games into my project . now i want to fetch the highest score for an individual for a particular game and i want to store that data into my database so that i can populate the list of high scorers for any particular game on my webpage.
I'm trying to add Embeded flash in aspx page running on iis 7.5 windows server 2008. When i'm adding the Embeded code src=/mylocation/test.swf it works fine. But when I'm adding fileserver location src="file:\c: est.swf the page doesn't load.
The code works fine in normal html file on my desktop.
I'm currently editing some html/css within a aspx file inside of Visual Studio 2010. I'm using Chrome as my browser. When I make changes inside of Visual Studio and save/ctrl + F5 to run it frequently fails to load the new updated .css file due to pulling old cached versions of the CSS.
I've used visual studio as my primary HTML editor before but when I work with pure html/css files I just save and refresh the file in chrome and it will refresh the updated css 100% of the time. I've only started to experience this problem when working with aspx files and running things via ctrl + f5. Anyone have any ideas of how I can fix this?
Within the Application_BeginRequest(Object sender, EventArgs e) method, I have code that checks whether the site is running on localhost or the live site. The code appears to be caching, when I make a change in visual studio, and do a refresh in IE or Firefox, the same old code appears to be running and the result in the browser is not what is expected.

I have a web page which is using PasswordRecovery control.
But I have a scenario in which I have to disable Viewstate for the whole application.
Now after disabling viewstate when I visit the webpage I have noticed that PasswordRecovery controls is not working (Every times when I submit the default button to go to step 2, the postback occur but not moving to step 2).
In my project I need to disable a hyperlink based on some condition. So how can I do this from code behind using C#?

The monitor object below is getting NULL value. Not sure if there is some more additional code required or any other settings required.
