ADO.NET :: How To Obtain All Digits From A DateTime Type When Calling Cmd.ExecuteScalar()

I hope this is the right forum for this question.The statement , object obj = cmd.ExecuteScalar() is returning 2010-10-22 18:25:36However is not bringing the last 3 digits (miliseconds).This is actually calling the following SQL query: select max(timeStamp) from Table1 which returns 2010-10-22 18:25:36.713 on query analyzer. As you can see "713" is not being included ...How do I bring this value?

I have a problem:
I've created usual Controller and View(Edit view) for editing my Entity (EntityFramework)
Here is view example:

BirthDate is Nullable<DateTime>
but during loading my View I get this exception
The model item passed into the dictionary is null, but this dictionary requires a non-null model item of type 'System.DateTime'.
That's because of BirthDate is null in database but it is nullable and I expect that it just leaves the filed empty.
And I have Shared EditorTemplate:
@model System.Nullable<System.DateTime>
@if (Model.HasValue)

What i'm trying to do is group by ContentObjectId and then get StartDate that is greater than today.

Above is my code. The error I'm get is, Unable to cast object of type 'System.DateTime' to type 'System.String'.
The column "To" and column "Subject" are strings and column "Receive" is DateTime. I can't made any changes in the database, so I need to write some code to handle casting a string to datetime or if statement as a work around.

I have the following function signuture:
public JsonResult PopulateGrid(int page, Guid? accountId, Guid? systemUserId, Guid? branchId, DateTime? fromDate, DateTime? toDate, HomeVisitType? homeVisitType)
Every single parameter is bound just fine except toDate which turns out to be always null. When inspecting the Request.QueryString["toDate"] it retrives the right value which is 30/09/2010. It seems that DateTime expects another format when binding.
What is the right format?

c# - How to Grab Date Only from a Variable of Type DateTime
DataTable tempTable = new DataTable;
tempTable = getCustomerTable();
In this case, tempTable will have a table (named CustomerInvoice) which has

I have an EntityDatasource that is bound to several TextBoxes used for querying (filtering) data in a ListView. The problem I am having is getting a DateTime to work. I just want to ignore the time portion of the variable and only look at the Date portion. Here is the markup I am using to generate the where clause. Does anyone know how to force it to just "drop" the time in the comparison?

I am trying to call a Page Method using AJAX.

If I ran my sproc from query analyzer, I get the correct results(data is filtered by datetime), i.e:
exec Uds.Dashboard_GetJobs '9/20/2010 11:01:23 PM'
However, if I ran it from the Asp.Net page, (ALL records are showed). Looking at the SQL Profiler I see the following call:
exec sp_executesql N'exec Uds.Dashboard_GetJobs',N'@date nvarchar(21)',@date=N'9/20/2010 11:01:23 PM'
Running both statements above in the query analyzer it WILL return me different results. Why? Someone mentioned that it looks like I don't have correct data type specified for SQLParameter in .Net application. I was asked to create something like:

I get the following error:
Attribute 'MyApp.DateTime' is not valid on this declaration type. It is only valid on 'class, struct, enum, interface, param' declarations.
What am I missing?

The message sent to browser is as follows:

The problem occurs when debugging a Web App, speciically when making a request to a WebMethod of a WebService.The project compiles just right. It generates My.Website.dll on bin folder and if I publish the Web Application. It works fine.The asmx file is on the root of the application. The CodeBehind file is on App_Code and its marked to be compiled to generate My.Website.dll.The way this person exposes its problem is somehow similar but I get starting to be lost when he talks about a proxy class and shared dlls I don't use.

I have this SQL Select statement to select the basket id where the user id equals a specific ID.I want to store the result of the query in a variable, so I thought I could have done:

(Select row from table where datetime is last updated....)
EDIT - This will be for a specific user in the table, i.e. Select row in table from specific current userid WHERE the row was his latest updated entry.

I know for a fact that the SQL statement below returns NULL but my code statement "if (obj != null)" is not working.When I debug it I see a value of {} ... not sure what that is. Here is my code:

I have a simple procedure which updates a table. The procedure works fine and I have tested it in Management Studio. However when I am calling that procedure from code, nothing is happening. cmd.ExecuteScalar returns null when it should return the ID.Has anyone faced anything similar? Any pointers as to how this can be resolved?
