i failed when load profiles through ajax
I've already edit the web.config to add the profile and allow the <profileService> and <readAccessProperties>
i can load the profile successful without ajaxbut when i use
Sys.Services.ProfileService.load(null,LoadCompletedCallback, ProfileFailedCallback, null);
it jumps to ProfileFailedCallback
and the error_object.get_message() is

Controller: Products and Action: Save, return a JsonResult. If a trapped exception occurs, i would like to signal that error to the client (ie:jQuery) with a custom error message. How can I do that both on the server and client? Can i utilize the function pointer error in this scenario?

I know this is a pretty common issue as i have read a lot of posts from people with similar issues. However thus far what i have uncovered doesn't seem to help resolve my issue. I have used the ModalPopupExtender regular enough but this is my first time needing the Dynamic side of things. The code I have is very basic and generic at the minute..I have the following ASPX code in place:

Now just to say at this stage the Modal Dialog box pops up and closes 100%. So my ProductPopulate.asmx service at the moment for testing is just using the VS2010 default Web Service with a few changes that i will explain.

I changed the default HelloWorld method to static and also uncommented the following line

So this is as far as my code has gotten at the minute. The Modal Dialog pops up 100% and what i would expect to see within the dialog box would be the text "Sampling Control" from the DynamicContextKey. Instead what i get is the "Web Service call failed: 500" error. I have stripped everything back to basics as you can see.. but for some reason i am still getting this error. I have used Web Services before from time to time without any issues and i have used the ModalPopupExtender without any issues.. but i am left scratching my head as to what i am missing on putting the two together.
Also just to note, both ASMX and ASPX files are currently in the root of the web project to rule out any path issues. Also i am using the VS Web Service to preview and debug.

I wanted to make extensive changes to a project, so I created a copy of the project folder. In the new version, I renamed all of my namespaces and a few classes. Everything compiles and runs, however, I am getting this javascript error. 'ASP.NET Ajax client-side framework failed to load' and my 'Auto complete' text box no longer works. This error does not occur in the original project.
The HTML source between the original and the new project are identical, save for the few lines of code that throw this error. The web.config files are identical.

I can't find why it's not always working with IE. I'm not able to get the error on my computer (even by changing security, privacy settings in IE).
I have failed to load the ajax toolkit on VS2008.the problem comes when I try to load the toolkit form add Item my VS2008 just closes itself. I got gzip working, but there are issues with IE. (works fine with FF and Chrome) Message: ASP.NET Ajax client-side framework failed to load. (and many other js related errors)
How can I prevent gzip compression on ie browsers ?? Other people who had similar issues enabled compression in IIS and that seems to solve the issue, but I can't do this on my discount machine...

Till then all the configurations runs properly. The web.config is also correct and ihave added the modules required for URL routing. Now when i change the global.asax file, i get the following error on my masterpage:

I have developed an ERP module wihch runs on intranet. with ASP.NET /AJAX. It runs perfectly in my localhost. IIS. View 8 RepliesI am runnign the SQL 2005 with Membership structure and two web-applications on the same server box. Each web application uses its own Application Name in aspnet_Applications table. There are two application names.
The users from web-app1 could not login to web-app2. Each web-apps uses different Application Pool. Each providers section of Membersip use correct applicationName from aspnet_Applications. The first application is working correct.
The problem is that sometimes the users could not login to web-application 2 during day. I get error Event code: 4006 Event message: Membership credential verification failed. The users start to login again after I Recycle - Stop - Start Application Pool of this web application.

I am using VS2010, .Net 4. I am trying to add a ScriptManager to my page, so I can reference an AJAX Enabled WCF Service. When I add the ScriptManager control to my page and view it - I get the error shown below. I have no clue how to resolve it. I get the error by simply putting the control on my page (not reference the WCF Service).

Actually, my problem is that I am not able to access the service. I am referencing it inside the ScriptManager and have the javascript code in place, but Firefox is reporting that it cannot find it. Says it is not defined. I do not know how to test this or determine where it is failing.
