Feb 4, 2010I created a MultiHandleSliderExtender on a web form. All works well with updating the two textboxes with the value. The problem is that when I switch to designer mode, I get the following error:

The control works and the 2 text boxes get updated, but I tried putting in an update panel with a trigger on mh_1_BoundControl but it never fired. I removed it thinking that was the cause of the error, but no luck.
Now when I add another sliderextender below it for a different value, the code throws an error:
Microsoft JScript runtime error: Sys.InvalidOperationException: Type AjaxControlToolkit.SliderOrientation has already been registered. The type may be defined multiple times or the script file that defines it may have already been loaded. A possible cause is a change of settings during a partial update.
I found this example on this site and tried implementing it but to no avail.
AJAX :: Set MultiHandleSliderExtender Length To A Percent Of Its Container
Mar 18, 2011I'm using a MultiHandleSliderExtender (very cool) and need to set its Length property to a percent of its DIV container. The extender appears to only allow a decimal value for the number of pixels. Can anyone show me how to set the Length to, say, 95% of the DIV? I suppose using javascript to dynamically set it? I'm a C# guy who struggles with javascript and I cannot make this fly on my own.

Raise ItemDataBound Event From Repeater Within User Control To Page?
May 20, 2010I have a user control that contains a repeater. We have added some paging and sorting into the user control and it all works well.
What I need now is a nice way to catch the OnItemDataBound event of the inner repeater and then bubble it up to be accessible directly from the user control from within the page.
We have tried catching it and then declaring it in the user control but it just won't work.

Jan 19, 2011Is there any way for one user control to raise an event that is handled by another user control without going through the page? I am using Umbraco and do not have access to the page object.

Umbraco has the idea of Macro's (user controls) that it loads into pages. I can't access the page directly as this is part of the framework.
There is a publish subscribe (pubsub) pattern that I know would fit my needs well (2 user controls that need to talk to each other) but am unsure how to hook it up in ASP.Net without the page object.

Nov 15, 2010I am creating nested accordion using the object model and have created buttons in the inner accordion's accordion pane. The buttons look great but issue is that the buttons does not fire thier click event. They just do the postback of the page and ignore the event.
I want to show a pop-upextender on the pre_init event but all my panes are added dynamically so it does not give any rows.
