Nov 23, 2010I have a textbox that gets the date from an AJAX Calendar extender. What I need to do is extract the "month," "day," and "year," and put them into seperate string variables to use in my code to do various things based on the month, day or year respectively.
Here is what I have so far:

But I don't want the year NOW, I want the year from the textbox.

Jan 27, 2011The AJAX CalendarExtender does not seem to work properly when using it to try and find the "past "Years/Month" (the TextBox default value is set to the current date).
When using the CalendarExtender with the Calenar icon you can click the icon and the Calendar pops up. By clicking on the Month/Year the month disappears and when you click on the "year" again it will take you back to the years from the past. After you find the year from the past being sought you can click on a "Month". Next you can click on the day sought.
However after you click on the day sought the date appears in the TextBox.
The problem is that the month is always displays "1". For example if I choose:
July 31, 2010 on the Calendar it should display "7/31/2010 in the TextBox, but instead it will display:
"1/31/2010" in the TextBox ( As you can see the "7" is replace with a "1").
How can I get the CalendarExtender to retain the "month" value that was selected to be displayed in the TextBox?

Every time i press Previous, a variable mymonth subtracts 1 , and when if i press
Next , the variable mymonth adds 1.

All the schedule from the DB is shown, using the following SQL:
SELECT DISTINCT day(mydate) FROM schedule WHERE month(mydate)=" + mymonth + " AND year(mydate)=" + myyear + " ORDER BY day(mydate) ASC"
But my problems are:
- i want to show 3 months backwards from th actual month
- when mymonth is 1 (January) 2011 for example, it would show December, November and October from 2010
- If for example, we are in JULY, it would show until APRIL backwards, and when on APRIL it wouldnt show the PREVIOUS button.
