Here what I want to give delete facility to the user upon the selection of checkbox corresponding to the particular record. But when I click the button it doesnot triger the button click event of the remove button.

The code below is wrapped in an update panel but without this, the button click fires a method to retrieve the number of products. So for example, an item is selected from ddlCategory, the btnValidate is clicked and the label returns the number of products within that category.I have the following code for an update panel - I'm just not sure how to implement if effectively.

AJAX :: Chrome Update - Toolkit TabContainer Disappears On Button Click.
Sep 10, 2010Yesterday (Thursday Sep 10th 2010) I was happy to have a TabContainer working fine on a simple page as im learning to use it.
On the page was:
1) Ajax Script manger.
2) 1 command button (it would make label1.text = "hello world"
3) A Ajax TabContainer with 2 tabs...
4) Label1
That was it and it was working fine in Chrom and IE Woohoo.. I go home...
This morning I load it up to keep working way and doing more with it.... Chrome is my default browser, it loads and I click tab2 then tab 1 all is well.... I click Butto1 and the hole TabContainer disapears..
After much dinging I find it still works in IE but that my Chrome has updated (on its own): (I notice only one ICON in Chrome in the uper right corner by the addres bar... Only the Wrench ICON, No more Page ICON.. So I check and sure enough Chrome did a push to V 6.0.472.55.. Anyhow thats the difference and now TabContainer goes poof/disappears when clicking a button that refeshes the page.

Jun 8, 2010I have a master page with an accordion in it inside the accordion panel1 are 3 dropdownlists (ajax cascading) and a button when the default page is loaded i want to select the dropdown values(this works) and then click the button to redirect to another page called test.sapx (this works). The thing i also want to do is pass the dropdownlist values to the new page as the dropdownlists reset. I was trying to do this through the click event on the button and set them in a session variable. The click event isn't firing at all. The page redirects and then if i click the button again it fires the event?

Again i add another Content Page that is using the user control not the master page. Inside the table i add some textbox and save values in database . and the table is in UpdatePanel. and added ad trigger

When i remove the usercontrol entering on table textbox values works fine. and again i put the same user control the link button contol doesn't work for me.

AJAX :: Two Update Panels Interfacing With External Button - How To Control Button Visibility
Jun 15, 2010 I have a page with 2 update panels
UpdatePanel1 contains a gridview1 and a standard panel, pnlForms. gridview1 has a linkbutton which is processed in the gridview1_rowcommand
UpdatePanel2 has gridview2.
There is also a Submit button that isn't in either UpdatePanel but may be a candidate to go into its own UpdatePanel. The Submit button is a trigger for both update panels
The behavior I would like is:
1-Initially, all visible except pnlForms and Submit button 2- When linkbutton in UpdatePanel1 gridview1 is clicked, pnlForms and Submit button become visible. 3. When Submit button is clicked, both gridviews should be refreshed, and PnlForms and the Submit button should both become not visible. I believe I may have to put the Submit button in its own UpdatePanel3 but am not sure how to proceed.
In my present code, everything works as desired except Submit button (not presently in any Update panel) is always visible. Assuming Submit button is initialized to not visible, how do I get it to appear when I click the link button in gridview1 and to disappear when it is clicked?

ISSUE:
I've a a textbox whixh is invisible by default and a button, which is visible and both are placed inside grid's item template
I've also used ajax's update pannel to supress postback
My requirement is to make thetext box visible on button click which is working fine and fast in the localhost machine
But when put on server,its taking considerably more time to make the text box visible.

Nov 15, 2010I am creating nested accordion using the object model and have created buttons in the inner accordion's accordion pane. The buttons look great but issue is that the buttons does not fire thier click event. They just do the postback of the page and ignore the event.
I want to show a pop-upextender on the pre_init event but all my panes are added dynamically so it does not give any rows.
