Can anyone tell me why the following nested Accordion control does not work?

In my WebForm I hv used an accordion and this accordion is in an UpdatePanel with UpdateMode="Conditional" .
In that accrdion , in last pane i hv a fileupload - when i select a file and click upload button then always the fileupload control has no file and it returns false everytime .
I have written trigger in UpdatePanel also still it doesn't work. Without updatepanel fileupload control works properly, this problem arise after i use UpdatePanel...
I am using v3.0.31106.0 of the AjaxControlTookkit.dlll. I have nested master pages. The site Master page has the only ScriptManager & holds the oneColumn & twoColumn master pages. The twoColumn master page holds content pages. In the content page there is a update panel. Here is my Site Master Page:

Before the update page I put the ToolkitScriptManager. In the update panel I put a button with a ConfirmBox Extender. I then get an error saying Only one instance of a ScriptManager can be added to the page. If I take the ToolkitScriptManager out this error goes away but then I get an error saying The ConfirmBox Extender is not recognized.According to all the posts I have read the last 24hours the master page should have the ScriptManager and the content page should hold the toolkitScriptManager.Here is my content page:
I am creating a nested accordion in the code behind which is populated from my data table. The requirenment is
1. Main Accordin - create department Panes
2. sub accordin - Each department pane has a accordin in the contnet are.
3. sub accordin panes - people from that department show up as panes in sub accordin.
I was able to impelment this model but the problem is that the sub accordin ( with people) would not slide. First one is opened by default and i see hand on the other header panes but they dont slide (up and down). They do have a content though. P.S - if i implement the same nested according in aspx it works fine. My code

Update - I found that I get "Microsoft JScript runtime error: Sys.ArgumentException: Value must not be null for Controls and Behaviors.Parameter name: element" javascript error when i try to create the nested accordin.
I got requirement to create a accordion menu which will have different menus for different site collection. So, i created this Accordion which is in bind with site map file. But my Sitemap file has multi-level nodes, here my accordion is displaying only single level menus.
I have this so far but kind of stuck on how to do it programtically if I'm using header and content templates I have a xmldatasource..In a nutshell at what point in my code do I need to create a new accordion? does it need to be in the item_databound handler?
I have a repeater that contains an accordion. Inside the accordion, I have contents that consist of a <table> and text boxes, labels, buttons, the whole shooting match. When my code runs the contents all load no problem. The only problem is that my accordion is not working. There is no accordion function and all panes are expanded and I can't un expand them. I am creating an accordion dynamically through aspx.cs file. There is a subaccordion inside each accordion pane. I am seeing that if there are 10 or more accordion panes in the root accordion, then I can only expand first 4 or 5 panes. Nothing happens when I click on other panes. This is happening in IE8, tried on three different machines. I don't see this problem with Mozilla, it can open as many panes as possible, I have tried with 20 panes in mozilla.
i am creating a menu which has the below structure. what i would like to do is use a jquery ui accordion control.
can i place an accordion in an accordion?... i.e. menu 1 expands out in an accordion and then the sub menus in menu 1 need to expand out in another accordion.

Ques 1. I am pasting only excerpts of my panel code (limited length here) within which I have 3 levels. The collapsible panel works fine till level 2 but when I am clicking on level 3 it shows for a second and collapses back to level 2. The collapsible doesnt work on panel pnlUserAccess below.
Ques 2. Can I make collapsible panel work on particular button click or image click?. As when I just put to to 2 levels I have to edit within the gridview and as soon as I click on the checkbox to edit the panel collapses.. I need to just give it a tree view style of appearance.
Ques 3. Can I also make the collapsible panel enable on read mode and disable on edit mode (if there is no possiblity for Ques 2)how to make it work. Just to be more specific on the code.
Adding an Accordion only creates the outer most tags. I then have to add the headercssclass, contentcssclass etc. info. Then i have to manually add <Pane> tags, and then add Accordion Pane controls. Using VWDE 2008, is there a way to customize the control so that adding the Accordion control automatically adds this other info? Ideally with 2 Accordion Panes to start, but even just getting the various Accordion properties and the <Pane> tags added would make it much more <Pane>less!
I m using ajax accordion control to display the information of my company branches. Now it always displays one pane at a time. But i want that it should not display any pane at a time. Only a single pane should be displayed when user click on header of that pane.
I followed a video tuturiol for the Ajax Accordion control and also created it manually using VWD2010ExpressAlthough the source code I downloaded works fine, mines dosen't. The links for the panes will not respond. Everything else seems to be ok.
anyone has encountered this 'bug'...i was working with the Ajax Toolkit with vs 2008 and noticed that when i was in Split design or source view, any changes i made to the accordion tags i.e. properties, etc...it vs would automatically duplicated the whole entire accordion panel including all the content, header and accordianPanel....very annoying!
I run into this problem while playing with accordion for a project. Sometimes VS 2008 auto generates code, without me wanting to!!!. Less generally I have an Accordion with 2 Accordion Panes in it. When modifing properties of the Accordion VS 2008 adds an Accordion extender and duplicates the two Accordion Panes!

I'm new to the Ajax Control Tool Kits and I was trying to use the accordion control which is cool according to
its sample.
I followed this video tutorials, however after I created the simple demo, the accordion control doesn't collapse or expand. It just didn't respond to my clicks.
Following is my code and I've trimmed is as simple as possible.
I've practically spent seven or eight hours trying to get the ASP.NET AJAX Accordion to work and it simply will not cooperate. I have been to every imaginable corner of the web to Bing and Google, read post after post on this forum, and done any other thing I could possibly think of to get this to work, yet I still hit this wall.

I'm creating a user control to be placed within a masterpage on a site. Inside the user control, I have placed a menu. It is wired up to a sitemap datasource to get navigation with security trimming included. question: How do I use the Accordion toolkit control to collapse main portions of the menu? For example, if I have Orders and Supplies and subpages contained therein, how do I setup Accordion to traverse the sitemap based on the user's security privileges?
I have an accordion control in my web site. And in one of the panels, I have a drop down list box where, when the user selects an item, it updates the labels right below the ddlistbox. I have it so that it maintains the scroll position when the ddlistbox has an autopostback, but it's very obvious that the whole page posts back. My question is, can I/should I just enclose the ddlistbox and the labels (and a couple of text boxes) in an AJAX update panel? I already have a ToolScriptManager (because of the accordion control), so I don't need to have another script manager, right? I can just put the update panel (with the other controls inside of it) right in the accordion panel, right? Then when the ddlistbox posts back it won't have the delay of the whole page posting back? And it'll still execute the event handler for the listbox selection change? Does this sound right? I'm just looking to make the post back "invisible", and I would like to do a partial postback of just these few controls.
