I have two UpdatePanels on a page. The first one works perfectly. The other one works as well, but when it is updated. A table nested inside the <ContentTemplate> is duplicated...meaning that where there was 1 there are now 2 exact copies. Otherwise everything appears to be operating fine. Both UpdatePanels have the UpdateMode set to "Conditional".

I have some problem with the AutoCompleteExtender when it's include in an UpdatePanel.
Scenario:
I have create a UserControl with TextBox, AutoCompleteExtender and a "Save" LinkButton and I put this Control in the InsertItemTemplate of a ListView.
The AutoComplete uses a Method that I have created in a webservice.
All works fine untill i place my ListView in an UpdatePanel.
The webmethod don't fired. The strange thing is that if i put the same Control also out of my ListView it seems to work, but i can't catch the linkbutton click.
I need to copy the records of a row to the next available row in the same table. I tried with "Insert ...Select " but it throws me a error since the pk is auto-increment. Also, i cant specify each and every column inside the insert...select statment cause i've almost 30 columns.

i have one master page and the ContentPlaceHolder that are inside UpdatePanel. I have too, buttons in master page thad feed the ContentPlaceHolder e update the UpdatePanel. When i click on any master page button, it load one UserControl inside ContentPlaceHolder. But inside one of this UserControls have a Button, that when i click on, it dont fire the click event.

I've used modal popups before with no issues, but now I am getting a strange issue I need help with.I'm using .net 4.0, this is my first new project using it, so perhaps it is something to do with that.
I've setup a modal popup which contains textboxes and a dropdownlist to insert and update values in a database. The popup displays correctly, and the code behind works perfectly to insert new rows into a database and update existing ones. My problem is, it's inserting and updating 'incorrect values'. If I type "test123" into the textbox and save it, the value "test123,test123" is saved. I do not have any code that does this, and i think it is the modal popup extender, because when I move controls out of the modal popup panel and onto the main page (inside an update panel) they are no longer affected by 'duplicating' string values and "test123" is saved. ",<duplicateValue>" is appended after EVERY post back. I've had the textbox displaying "test123,test123,test,123,test123" after a few save button clicks. Is there anything blatantly obvious to check (viewstate or something similar) that will correct this behaviour? I promise I'm not duplicating the values myself, they only seem to duplicate after the submit button click inside the modal popup panel.

A breakpoint is set on FillForm() and this method is called two times but I can't explain myself why this happens. I have client side javascript code, when the form is being send, the onsubmit method is also called twice... Where do I have to search?! Is it a (known) bug? the problem is that it makes several seconds to update each tab (the same time for every tab) and i asume that this is happening because it updates all the TabContainer and not the selected Tab.
I have two updatepanels on my site (upanProfileSearch and upanMemberList). When I hit the button in the upanProfileSearch it should bind the Data Items in the gridview in upanMemberList and here make a RowFilter on the text in upanProfileSearch. When I make a run to curser, I can see, it happens. It makes a RowFilter. but it doesn't update the gridview. Can anyone tell me why it doesn't update? I have UpdateMode="Always" and RenderMode="inline" on both UpdatePanels.

I have a dropdownlist, that causes a postback. On the SelectedIndexChanged event, is it possible to force a placeholder that is within a different UpdatePanel to change it's visibility?
For example, when the SelectedItem.Value of DropDownList1 is "1" then show Placeholder1, otherwise hide it.
What I am most interested in is how to configure the UpdatePanels to allow this.

I have a web user control with one updatepanel (pnlUpdate_2), some controls and one apply button. I display the web user control as a modalpopup in my default page. In my default page i have an updatepanel (pnlUpdate_1) with a gridview and I modify that gridview with the apply button of the web user control. The web user control is for made a custom search of the gridview data. I have a problem with both updatepanels. If I set the updatemode as always in one of them (pnlUpdate_1) and the other as conditional (pnlUpdate_2), the pnlUpdate_1 make a postback in the pnlUpdate_2; I'm not an expert on this but I think that's why the pnlUpdate_2 disappear and reappear after postback of some controls in that updatepanel (not the apply button, it close the modal after postback). I try all the combinations and the problem persists. So I put both updatepanels as conditional and in some way it works; now the problem is that when I click the apply button in pnlUpdate_2 to modify the gridview in pnlUpdate_1 the pnlUpdate_1 not made the postback I get the pnlUpdate_2 postback when I use some control inside the pnlUpdate_1.
How can I postback the pnlUpdate1 from pnlUpdate_2 with the apply button?

I have an update panel in my ASP.NET web form with a trigger that will fire a click event when the contents within my update panel is updated (it's a grid view with fields). The event that is fired when then take the changes user made and do some calculation and then update another update panel with that information. This is all fine and dandy when the user tabs along the form and fill out the form in a orderly fashion before hitting any buttons on the page.
If a user accidentally hits another button on the page while changing the content in my grid within the update panel, for example, the user enter a value in my grid view control, without tabbing, the user click the save button. Logically, i believe that the trigger should fire the click event first (event A), and then the save button event (event B). But, consistently I haven't seen event A gets fire correctly while event B gets fire all the time. is there a way to ensure event A always gets fired before event B? also if event A update another update panel without the page will event B fire after the update is complete?
