I have datalist menu, when I click on each menuitems a new Dynamic Ajax tab is created. my problem is : if I click on a menu item for several times, dynamic tab is created for several times too,however I want to create my tab just one time. and if I click again on menu item the previous tab that was created before is shown. here is my code to create tabs:

I am trying to use a button to dynamically create a brand new tab every time i click it and load a control in there. I'm starting on the tab creation so far. I have on my aspx page, an update panel and a tab container control to handle it. The issue I am having is that the button will only create one tab no matter how many times I click

The dropdown is filled during the page load of lists.aspx. How can I get the postback to go to lists.aspx instead of back to the Default.aspx? I tried using IFrames and it worked great for postback issue but not for dynamic loading of pages. It loaded all pages up front which is not ok.

I have been adding different JQuery Carousels to AJAX Tabbed Panels - the first one displayed on the page always works. But any other tabs dont work when I select the tab. I have about a dozen different carousels.
Can anyone recommend one that works in AJAX Tabs or how I can go about rectifying this?

I'm trying to create new tabs within page. When I click a link in my navmenu, it should open the Redirected page in a new tab within the page as new tab (not the browser tab). It is something like the visual studio, where we get the page opened inside a new tab when you click an item in the Solution explorer. Would any body let me know how to implement this functionality. View 3 RepliesI'm developing two applications. One is server application and one more is client application and i'm implementing Localization in both the applications. I have used 7 language resource files in both the application. I need to add the reference of server application in my client application to access some global methods and all. After i'm adding the resource file in the application if i build the application it creates folder for each resource file with language culture code (Spanish -> es-ES, French -> fr-FR) under Bin directory.
Similarly if i add the reference of server application into client application then the resource file dll of server application will be added under corresponding langauge culture folder(es-ES,fr-FR) in the Bin directory. But i don't want to create any resource file dll for the application under Bin directory and aslo i need to put all the resource files inside the application only.

I have created an asp.net applications in which i am using jquery tabs to show say profile modifications information. I want user to see his profile info as well as he will be able to edit his details and save the information. for this purpose i have created an aspx page "MyProfile.aspx" and 3 ascx pages
say "page1", "page2" and "page3".
When i run "MyProfile.aspx" i can see all 3 tabs showing correct information. But problem is when i edit contents and try to save them back to the database. Contents on page1 are stored correctly. But page2 and page3 doest not fire any event. In all 3 pages I am using ajax n jquery to save data to database. and when i try to save contents of page2 and page3 nothing occurs.I am showing 3 tabs there of which first tab edits save the details but second and third tabs do not fire any event on button click.
I am creating the crystal report without database data, just i am read the data from text file and fill into dataset then genrate the crystal report but problem is here if i am export the crystal report into different format so he wants the database logon parameter.so in this case i have no database crendential because i am creating the report without database.

I have dynamic ajax tabs that I want to load different usercontrols in each AjaxTabs.when Tab1 is created usercontrol1 loads in it.when Tab2 is created usercontrol2 loads in Tab2,but the problem is usercontrol1 does not remain in Tab1 when Tab2 is created and tab1 became empty.& When Tab3 is created, usercontrol2 does not remain in Tab2.I want to keep my usercontrols in my tabs,whenever I create a new Tab.
I am going to deploy my Application on server but instead of specifying connection string (servername .server userid , password) in web.config manually is their any way of entering the server details in the web.confi file dynamically from client side when i first run the application.
in the starting page the user must specify the server details and database name from which he want the data to be loaded .And once i enter the server details it should bepermanently stored in the web.config file instead of dataabse.

View 4 RepliesI have a web page with two tabs, "Release Inventory" and "Recreate Pull Sheet". I am using a tab container and tab panels. It looks fine in the design view but as soon as I view it in a brower the tabs don't show up. All I see is the Header text for the tabs. It looks like this:
"Release InventoryRecreate Pull Sheet"
You can click "Release Inventory" or "Recreate Pull Shee" and you will see the information in the tabs, but the actual tab appearance is not showing up.

I am using Ajaxtoolkit in my application. I am declaring the tabcontainer and tab panels on the serverside. I just have my Updatepanel on the Client-Side. I was wondering how to assign css to the tabs like onhover or click would change its background color and highlight the tab up.
Secondly, since I am dynamically creating these tabs, how would I put a close for each of the tabs?
how to add close to all the tabs in a tabcontainer.The scenario is, I have only TabContainer on aspx and m populating tabs with UserControls programmatically (with use of DOM). How can I develop the close of a tab with small X on each of the tab? I am not sure how many tabs I have.
