I need to display multiple images in seadragon. I have developed these in deep zoom compmser and checked in preview, it works fine.but when i put this in seadrgon's sourceurl,i am facing the following error. icrosoft JScript runtime error: Object doesn't support this property or method.
I've been implementing Seadragon (as part of the ACT), but have recently found some users complaining of slow speeds whilst using it - I thought this odd because the whole idea of Seadragon and DeepZoom is streaming images as they're required rather than loading one huge image in one request.
I've done a bit of testing (using Firebug) on both our web pages and the ASP.net ACT Sample website Seadragon control, and have found that when the control is opened on screen, the browser decides to load all the tile images at once (even the tiles which aren't at the default zoom level).
Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know why it does it/if there's a fix? The fact it happens on the ACT sample site has left me tearing my hair out because I know that it's not just my implementation of the control that's causing problems.
I am playing with Asp.net MVC 3, I was wondering how do you acheive a collection rendering in the view when the collection is made of 'real world' objects. Let's say I have a collection of client, each client may have an address and an adress may have a country.
When I write the following code it crashs if one of the client has a null address (or a null country). Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
i need free jquery for zoom in and zoom out image with mouse scrool i google but one of the Query is from the developers side so i can't use thisso where can i get fully free code
Has anyone ever tried to put a seadragon control in an accordion extender? I just tried and I can't get it to work. The seadragon control dosn't render the image when you open a pane in the accordion. Something like this...
I used the DeepZoomTools.DLL to convert a JPG file to XML using the following code:
[Code]....
I then used the aspx page below to show the file which is created. On Firefox there are no java erros, the control appears but it just says loading....... on the IE8 control show up saying Loading.. but I am getting a javascript error. Can anybody help figure this out?
In my appliction I have 4 tabs. Ex- HOME,ABOUT US,LAYOUT,CONTACT US. these tabs are in tabcontainer. Using Seadragon I have created the image(LAYOUT).Image is displaying only when I set the Activetabindex to LAYOUT. Otherwise it is not displaying the image.
In my Bing Ajax Map app the user is presented with a list of locations they can choose from. OnRowClick the map center and zooms on that places location. After it has focused on that location, it shows the info window for it as well.
The problem is that the info window seems to be loading before the map has finished panning. This causes the info window to appear in the wrong spot, or not at all. For now I've put the show info method in a setTimeout tag to give it another second before loading the information, but its a fairly ugly hack and still doesn't work 100% of the time.
I want to make the value of sequence to ALL in an asp.net asmx web service WSDL.. is it possible and if so how? Google couldn't give much help regarding this.
I have teh seadragon working, but when I try to active it with a hovermenu or popupcontrol, I don't get an error, I just get everything except for the actual image. It has the background, the controls of enlarge, shrink etc, but no image.
I'm a novice @ asp.net and in fact any dynamic website building as I'm normally the dba behind the scenes, however, circumstances arise and now I'm looking at the front end, so forgive me if my question seems so obvious or badly worded, it's only day 2 of the .net environment for me.
I have a stored procedure with several parameters (11) that I have written & tested on the server.
I am trying to call it on a web form (using visual web developer 2008 express)
I have created the text boxes & drop downs on the form.
Added a gridview table connected to my stored procedure (which then works on testing) (parameters set to control & picked from the dropdown of form boxes to match).
there is also a submit button. (no coding added) just dragged on page.
Like i said when I test the connection for the gridview of the stored procedure it works, however on the web face it doesn't. I put in the parameters click the submit button and the screen refreshes, i get done @ the bottom but no results. I tried just using the sql and got the same result. I've looked at books but can't see what I'm missing, although, i suspect the onclick event of my submit button.
I need to create 2 level deep menu. The first level is static and horizontal. And i need the second dynamic level to be horizontal. Is there any oprion for dynamic menu item or it can be done by css somehow?
I have a list of objects that I want to bind to a gridview. Creating that list and binding it works fine for most of the public properties in that list.
There are some objects contained in each of those objects... for instance there is an Address object.
object.Address.Line1;
object.Address.Line2;
When I bind this to my gridview, I have no issues with stuff like object.DateRegistered, but how can I access things like object.Address.WhatEverProperty? I always get this error:
"A field or property with the name 'xxx.xxxx' was not found on the selected data source."
I'm an ASP.NET newbie, but not so new at programming in general.
I'm creating a commercial website, and I want to allow an admin to add new articles (an article consists of text, images and various properties such as category).
I am trying to decide the optimal Modus Operandi. This site is commercial, so SEO is a major consideration. This means that I want each url to be "unique". That is, if someone navigates to an article about raccoons, he should be redirected to [URL]. This means - I can't have one page that loads the appropriate article dynamically a-la AJAX (gotta use deep-linking)
So how exactly do I do this? suppose the admin entered his text, uploaded the images and set the article properties. I create a new subfolder, save the images to the server (I understand that saving images to a DB is a big no-no), their addresses in a DB, and the content itself to the DB. But now what?
How do I go about creating the actual page?
Is there a function for creating a new aspx file? then what about its corresponding cs file? Or is it unwise to use aspx? Maybe plain html? but then how does it work with my site's master page? Or maybe just create another copy of a general aspx file which is populated with an article according to a parameter?
