View 1 RepliesDisabled buttons look enabled in Firefox and Chrome. I opened the same page in ie, firefox, chrome and this is the output:
"DashBoard" and "Calendar" are disabled
"Agent Info" is enabled.
Here I'm using normal asp buttons with css.What do I do?
The application Im working on has a navigation menu that uses buttons that are pure black with no edges. This means that it is quite hard to tell if a button is disabled or not, based on the standard changes to a disabled button. Is there any way to change the appearance of the buttons when they become disabled; changing the background color, for example? If so, how do I go about it?
View 2 RepliesWe have a problem on a new server where disabling a themed button loses its theme. This happens consistently on all buttons now.
We just switched to a new iis server 7.5 using asp.net framework 4.0
Before, the buttons through out the website have a nice style/theme. These are not set inside each button and there are no classes set specifically for buttons I dont think but I believe inherit the theme from I believe the web.config in either:
All the buttons did display a nice light blue gradient, and when disabled they go a few shades lighter blue
For some reason now in .net framework 4.0 all disabled buttons seem to lose their theme and become the default grey color. Enabling them again brings its theme back
why the disabled button would look different now?
I posted the question below, and then discovered that the code I posted does work, if the button is not in the GridView header. In fact, I can't seem to make the button in the header do anything.As long as I can trigger the sort, I can make this work somehow, but ideally, I'd like the mechanism to be in the headers.Any ideas on why that button isn't working? Original message:I've got a GridView bound to a SQLDataSource, and have sorting enabled. This works great, but some of my users will have JavaScript disabled, and the page has to have the same functionality for them.
I've looked into sorting a GridView without JavaScript, but all the solutions I've found assume that I'm NOT binding to SQLDataSource - because of course, If I were, I'd just enable sorting. So I wind up back where I started.Is there a way for me to enable sorting for both regular and non-JavaScript users? I know one option is to install buttons instead of the header links, which would be fine, but I have no idea what my code should look like. I took a wild guess and tried:
[Code]....
...where "ColumnA" is the sort expression. I know I'd have to check the current sort direction for the Gridview and reset it - I just wanted to see if this would work at all, and it didn't seem to do anything. I also have both CausesValidation and UseSubmitBehavior set to False, since I just want to sort.

Has anyone ever tried to put a seadragon control in an accordion extender? I just tried and I can't get it to work. The seadragon control dosn't render the image when you open a pane in the accordion. Something like this...

We recently added a URL rewrite rule for a domain to run off of a share(actual name) directory. Well the domain share.site.com references the actual virtual for www.site.com/share as far as the url rewrite goes, because the menu and images must come from www.site.com/images and such. We were fine by adding in a base tag of <base href="www.site.com" />, but we started adding in modal popup and update panels then a bunch of javascript errors started bombarding the site. Is there a reason why the URL Rewrite doesn't use the virtual directory when the URL rewrite happens? I thought they fixed this.

View 2 RepliesI need to display multiple images in seadragon. I have developed these in deep zoom compmser and checked in preview, it works fine.but when i put this in seadrgon's sourceurl,i am facing the following error. icrosoft JScript runtime error: Object doesn't support this property or method.
View 2 RepliesI've been implementing Seadragon (as part of the ACT), but have recently found some users complaining of slow speeds whilst using it - I thought this odd because the whole idea of Seadragon and DeepZoom is streaming images as they're required rather than loading one huge image in one request.
I've done a bit of testing (using Firebug) on both our web pages and the ASP.net ACT Sample website Seadragon control, and have found that when the control is opened on screen, the browser decides to load all the tile images at once (even the tiles which aren't at the default zoom level).
Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know why it does it/if there's a fix? The fact it happens on the ACT sample site has left me tearing my hair out because I know that it's not just my implementation of the control that's causing problems.
I have generated single imge in deep zoom composer and i can able to working seadragon control

Now I need to display mutilple images. I have generated images using deep zoom composer.I should use these images in seadragon control.

I have an accordian with 4 panes. These panes are designed to submit data. I default to the 1st pane.  When I submit the 1st panel, the data is submitted to the database as expected. When I attempt to submit to the 3rd panel, the button does not fire the code behind. Is there a reason the 1st panel would work but not the 3rd? I've included the code used to call code behind for the 1st and 2nd panels.Â
This is the 1st pane that works...
<asp:Button ID="btnReferCompany" runat="server" Text="Submit" CommandName="SubmitCompanyReferral" />
Protected Sub SubmitCompanyReferral(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles btnReferCompany.Click
Â
This is the 3rd pane that does not work...
<asp:Button ID="btnSubmitIdea" runat="server" Text="Submit" CommandName="SubmitIdea" />
Protected Sub SubmitIdea_Click(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles btnSubmitIdea.Click
I am using .Net 3.5 in VS 2010. I would like to use a couple of radio buttons, that are bound to data, to control the Expand/Collapse of a CollapsiblePanelExtender.
I have found several threads on the web that suggest using JavaScript to control the CollapsiblePanelExtender with a RadioButtonList, but I cannot $find the control in the JavaScript.
I have also found several threads that suggest using custom radio buttons, but I don't see how to do the databinding for these.
I'm developing a Portal to a school
I need to login (ok)
I also need when the login is ok, to add some buttons to navigation menu, taht is created in the Master Page.
Is it possible?, how?
i already handle the page load on the default page.
